0.2.0c Patch Notes (restartless)

Why not buff the Pathfinder Ascendancy? The Poisonous Concoction Skill from its Ascendancy is currently in a completely unusable state. You can nerf its damage, but now both the damage, attack speed, and other attributes are entirely non-functional. The resource consumption is too high. Please revert it to allow weapon usage.

For the love of Kitava please let the devs do something different without setting the internet on fire.

The game is a beta, lets face it. They called it early access for marketing reasons and I think that decision was a fail. Its still very actively being worked on, balanced, tweaked ect.

yes certain builds work better, yes you can blast a bit, but the combat is unrewarding, large empty maps that sprawl on forever to find one thing is boring, loot is boring, the boss fights are dodge fests where your defenses hardly matter, it being hard is one complaint that summarizes the rest of the VISION as you put it. seasons move fast, very fast, there are many games out, not many people will stick around every season for as long as you think esp with no loot, a bare bones passive tree that offers lack luster nodes, zero hp on the tree along with no ele res. blasting is one concern, wasting time is the larger. half the game isnt working, and they dont actually play test their changes which is apparent. i am having fun bc i love arpgs, have two characters right before maps and have tested numerous respecs and builds. some way better than others, some just absolute trash. when i find myself running around the map looking for the witch for 20 minutes im not having fun, when i run into 20 dead ends with zero movement speed, im zoning out. saying for people to play d4 or poe1, or any other arpg is irrelevant and reeks of the standard american argument "if you dont like it leave" the issue is people do like it, they want it to be better.

edit* i played minions to 35 and they were god awful, hammer weapon was bad, i played decaying hex to act 3 which was super enjoyable and had their vision of combo moves, but they refuse to answer why it wont scale with anytthing since release, so its dead after a2, i have a totem warrior thats easy as pie, a shout warrior thats doing great, i tried huntress but couldnt do it. and ive tried a few other characters and builds, early game in arpgs usually almost any skill works, and then you find out late game only a few work, in this is almost the opposite. early game, four skills work and you better hope you didnt waste time or gems on your first character bc respecs still eat your gold, early gems are hard to come by and 4-5 hours to complete act 1 sucks. sure after your first character with some twink gear its arguably easier, but still slow moving. also checking the shop every level for gear bc none drops in the game is imo bad, maybe people like it but its akin to just browsing the trade website every hour, i want loot to drop, actual loot, not use level 16 gear at lvl 50 bc nothing better has dropped.

we need is we can use posion concoction when hold a weapon,if we need use it but lose a weapon,it become Pointless ,pleaee make it back
TIMINGS ON BOSSES ARE BROKEN NOW, NICE WORK!!!!!
Well that was a pointless patch 🙄
pconc requiring unarmed is how it works in the first poe though, using widowhail to bump the proj skills on a quiver to buff it to the nth degree was always going to get nerfed.

no idea how the damage scales now without that, but w/e. it didnt even scale on weapon damage to begin with.

if you really need to use a weapon with pconc, just use different weapon sets
Everytime I restart the game, options are reseted as well.

Now this is what I mean by constructive criticism. I clearly see your points, and I agree with most of them. The game DOES still need a lot of work. I hope a lot of your points are addressed by the time the game releases.

I also understand what you are saying about seasons moving fast and all, more what I mean with my statement is that if you don't have the time to beta test a game, don't beta test / early access play a game. Wait till it's all done for you and then see what you think of it. I don't mean this in the typical american way like you said. I genually mean if you don't have time, then move on to other things till the game is done. That's completely valid. I know people have lives and jobs and not everyone has a lot of gametime.

Telling the devs where things are going wrong and where things need improvement is exactly why we are playing an early access game. What bothers me are the people that just say 'this sucks' or whatever. That does not help. I was the game to be better to, I'm just willing to give the game time since it's in early access. Lets face it, POE has 8 years plus of development and feedback and updates. I remember playing its beta, and it was NOT the great game it is now at that time.
just gona rant while im here.
why is there no mana regen at the bottom of the tree at merc , even warrior is closer to mana regen.
there is flasks ( was it not the point to have less piano ?)
and % increased leech , not 1 source of actual dmg leech , you need to have it on gear for those nodes to be worth anything.
while the top of the tree has regen options as their 2nd or 3rd passive point.
cant realy go for cost life instead of mana , because there is no life and a pitiful amount of regen.
the closest soure of mana regen is pretty much the monk area start nodes.
who plans this bs

i agree and if my comments came off as rude forgive me. i love to play test arpgs, or any game for that matter, but i only play arpgs these days, i am having plenty fun, but some stuff just feels so bad. i thoroughly enjoy crafting homebrew builds rather than whats popular but it is tougher in this at the moment, and harder to make alts, which is a personal problem of mine that i always have too many characters. as with any game this will come into its own over time, people generally have a loud knee jerk reaction to say UNINSTALL or BAD DEAD GAME, but you are right that offers zero help towards a solution. there are things i find good about poe 1 and stuff i hate about it, but the game is so far along that i just keep that to myself bc i dont think at this point much is changing. constantly switching between le, poe1/2, le, d3/d4 gd, tq2 when its out, pixel arpgs (hero siege, chronicon, slormancer), wolcen, or there was a new one that came out with a hex grid, i feel gives me a decent insight to them, while not a programmer, streamer or content creator, valid concerns can be made from just about anyone. arpgs are just my jam and i want them all to succeed, so ill be playing poe2 until i cant anymore, or until le takes me away bc thats where my heart lies anyway.
