This game is Dead already Thank you GGG
" idk how you come to THAT conclusion and think yeah that is the way to go instead of addressing the root issues |

" Now anytime I want to swap skills I have to 6-link that skill at a couple orders of magnitude more than what it cost to do in PoE1. It was marketed as being easier to 6-link, but it is much much much more costly. I don't think I had a single perfect jewelers drop in the first 200 hours playing 0.1 and only had 3 total drop in 750 hours. I get enough fusings to 6-link something in the first 2 days of play in PoE1. |

Exactly this. How can anyone defend the new system as being more easy when it costs a LOT and oyu need to 6 link the gems themselves not to mention you are limited to use every support only once... Bland boring slow and costly.. what a great change really... then again this is teh description of this whole game. I wouldnt care if it didn't cost POE1 to have this garbage instead.

" Guy, come on. How some of you folks pop off with this absolutely absurd nonsense and expect anyone to take anything else you say as anything but equally ridiculous just escapes me. Like we all play these games guy. 6L in PoE1 is what, 1300 orbs on average? So you're really claiming that acquiring a Perfect Jeweler's Orb in PoE2 is the equivalent of 130,000 Orbs of Fusing in PoE1? For really real? " And those would be super relevant stats were it not for the presence of the Currency Exchange that allowed you to buy one at any time with a few mouse clicks for approximately ~1.5 divines. Like, again guy we all play this game too. How did you think you were going to type this out like you were making a point when everyone in your audience is fully aware that you had an NPC standing in your hideout where you could acquire one of these orbs in a few seconds for an amount of currency that most players are making once per session at least by that point in their progression. Like if you prefer PoE1 you can just go ahead and say that and let it go - you're entitled to your opinion. Why you feel the need to say a bunch of objectively absurd nonsense to try and pretend there's some objective truth behind your personal preference is beyond me. " Meaning once I have upgraded a gem I can reuse it forever regardless of the items I'm wearing which is inarguably more efficient? Last edited by Kerchunk#7797 on Apr 7, 2025, 2:23:16 PM

" This was true at the first Exilecon when the new skill system was revealed. But GGG has since iterated the awesomeness of the revealed system into the garbage system it is now. The current skill UI in POE2 is terrible. |
|
" Any chance you could elaborate a little? Like, I can think of a few improvements but "terrible?" Open window, add skill, add supports, close window. It's not fancy but kind of feels like it has the bare necessities figured out. |
|
" It doesn't take me 200 hours to loot 1200 fusings though I always get lucky and hit a 6-link in closer to 400 than 1200. One of the only spots I ever get lucky. It was over 200 hours to get a perfect jewelers in 0.1 as I said. They were also like 4d though you can't really compare divines in both games (clear speed and drop rates are different). 1200 fusing towards league start is probably around a divine and last I checked it was 20 fusings per chaos so 70c or a little under 1/2 a div to 6-link. There are also two other methods of 6-linking that take out the rng that are cheaper than fusings most of the time. I have to do this once in PoE1. In PoE2 I have to do this every time I want to try a different skill. Last edited by kabooms#3788 on Apr 7, 2025, 5:02:39 PM

" I know the 'root issue' is going to be dealt with. I have faith in the company to do what's right. What I see is that people need to take a break from PoE because some of these reactions are entirely unreasonable. The game isn't dead. It's in a patch that needs some work. I know people are addicted, and going without PoE for a few days is giving them cold sweats, but come on. The abusive posts, the dramatic, exaggerated posts need to stop. |

" a) You absolutely do not need to PJO a skill just to try it out. You can evaluate a skill with 4-5 supports and decide if you like it enough to invest in the final socket. b) At that point, you don't have to do anything at all. You click on the NPC and buy a PJO. It takes literally seconds. c) You are (again, somewhat conveniently) also ignoring the impact of socket colors in PoE1 -- the only way you can freely try a new 6L combination in that game is if it happens to use precisely the same configuration of gem colors which is uncommon -- and if your desired configuration uses colors that are rare for the base item best of luck. |

I would love if there was a good new PoE 1 league. Playing settles for the third time isn't that fun either.
And PoE 2. I rolled Lich but I don't like ED/C so I am out of luck |
