Indeed. The direction of the game, as in its current trajectory, is straight into the toilet.
My feedback is done. I agreed that when the tombstone was done printing my input ended. I’ll shelf this tombstone and remember when poe2 wasnt a turd. I’m done wasting my time on forums of lap riders. I pray some of you find self respect somewhere in your life time. Most of you probably won’t. The game is still an alpha that is 2+ years away from a release state but nobody got ripped off. The supporter packs come with points.
PoE 2 is meant to be "hard" which means 99.99% of builds will never be viable. It's dumb but that's the game they want and they'll screech "you already have PoE 1" if you say otherwise. |

This is just scam. They marketed completly different game and thi is not it anymore.
They should refund anyone who ask. I left my review on steam, negative one. current state is like 1400 negative 500 positive reviews on steam last two days. Leave feedback on steam, noone care about those forums devs only care about money and thats can be impacted on steam by giving them what they deserve. Majority of players dont like this. 80% of playerbase can be just chinese botters. Noone knows how many ppl actually play. |

" Here's the part I'll bother respond to; A Alpha and Beta test are not "Test Stage 1" and "Test Stage 2". Alpha testing is "First Party Testing" and Beta testing is "Second Party". An alpha test is done by -definition- on the developers hardware. It's done by people making the game. A Beta test by definition, is done by different hardware than used by the developers who are not connected to the developers. It is -impossible- for a company to Beta test their own stuff. Likewise it is -impossible- for players to Alpha test. So if you're going to throw "Look up definitions", actually understand what the industry terms are. And I promise you, GGG did alpha test. A game -cannot- ship in a state that -runs at all- without being alpha tested. Coding is a trail and error job, and early iterations of programs crash -constantly- until testing works through it. |

Sure you can say they made a functioning pile of code and sold it after ensuring it functioned. That doesn’t mean they inspected quality of game play in any way shape or form and nothing they’ve done indicates they did. An alpha test is designed so that the developer at least releases a beta that is worth shipping. There are too many dramatic changes for you to ever get me to believe they did very much testing beyond code functioning.
