This Is The Truth In My Opinion.

This is abuse. They made us pay to alpha test a game for them and told us it was beta ready.

I’m still of the opinion they could be sued for false advertisement.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was financial incentive provided by LE studio to GGG so that LE launch isn’t an absolute failure.

“That’s a crazy conspiracy theory” it would be a crazy conspiracy theory if GGG didn’t just go out of there way to make poe2 as unfun as possible right before competition launches.

They’ve now backed themselves into a corner regardless. The backlash is overwhelming and while they may not care because f2p launch will bring new sheep to fleece, this backlash will be iconic and represent literally the most toxic change in a video game ever made historically.

Regardless of if these changes were malice or ignorance, it is clearly demonstrated GGG has no interest in player opinion. Making the game harder didn’t have to mean ruining the game.

Anyone who possesses common sense understands making the game harder means making the last achievements more meaningful. Make the end of the campaign a little harder. Make the end game a little harder.

Don’t take the whole game and turn it into some amalgam that will literally cause a schism between your entire player base.

But again if they cared about players they would have informed us of these changes much earlier.

Considering we paid them to alpha test for them, you’d imagine we’d get some considerations.

You all shouldn’t be mad about the changes, you should be mad they didn’t inform us of such dramatic changes sooner and expected a positive result.

I don’t like the changes but it is their game to ruin. I’m most upset they lacked the respect for us as people who paid to fix their shit game before launch.

Nothing we can say or do is going to change the type of people in charge. They will never actually care what we have to say or how we feel about it. All they care about is the money.

And of course as the irony goes, if they cared more about how we felt and what we wanted they would make more money.

They marketed a game that was nowhere near beta ready as beta ready.

If i purchase a game in open beta, I expect it to have been at least alpha tested first.

The build diversity is so toxic it makes Diablo 4 look like a literal top tier of build diversity.

Everyone likes making fun of the people who are upset till the games player count goes cratering to near death :)

All these companies know the only thing bolstering their player numbers is bot farms too and it’s hilarious.

Yall look at a big number and see a big number and never think about what percentage of that number is just bot accounts and rebuy accounts for bot farms that get wiped.

But enjoy the game while it lasts. Poe2 died for me and many others April 3rd 2025. I’m literally having a 3d printed gravestone made as we speak

You are right this is nothing like poe1, why have 6 classes when only 5 builds are currently smashing their heads enough to do tier 1 white maps?

Streamer privilege accounts aren’t even deep into maps and they have hundreds of people feeding them items.

You did not purchase a game, you purchased a supporter pack.
PoE is FTP.

Supporter packs are made to help fund the game development. When it is release it will be FTP.

It was well known this is not the final product or release, its called a beta which is further along than many betas I have been in.

Don't get me started on the Alpha for over 10 years in Star Citizen. Not even close to Beta yet people have spent thousands of dollars to "support" the project.

Yeah I am not happy with the way this league rolled out. Getting bum rushed by 3 wolfs in the first act on release day was like WTF. Then that witch that nukes you from across the map and when you try again and can actually hit her its like you did nothing.

A few patches later and its much more playable then when it first rolled out. I am still not happy with it but its going to evolve.
