Make 2 difficulty modes. One for the crybaby power fantasy players and one for real gamers

This will keep both camps happy. I love a more challenging game where the combat actually means something. And then you have the legion of crybaby gamers who want one button screen clearing nonsense that killed POE1's appeal and delegated it to a niche status.

an action rpg doesn't have to follow the degenerate power fantasy formula. It can actually instead follow a more methodical and strategic format. That is when POE2 is at it's best. But some people want an extremely EASY game.

So please make 2 difficulty settings because you have the potential for one of the best games ever if you play your cards right. I got bored with the low difficulty in 0.1 and want meaningful combat and boss encounters.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm certain I could clear most of the content, maybe even all of it with enough deaths. It isn't worth my time. Other activities provide more entertainment. And I wish PoE2 were more entertaining, because it is gorgeous and has a ton of potential.
Evasion-only melee character that can kill Ubers with cheap gear (SSF Rise of the Abyssal), no armor, no energy shield, 62k eHP:

Real gamers... you mean people without a job? I can see how well you are supporting this game you love so much. So much support, its overwhelming.

If something is bad—and there’s solid reasoning behind why it’s bad—then simply insisting it’s not bad without any actual argument doesn’t solve anything.

People always talk about how this game is supposed to deliver a “power fantasy,” but some folks clearly have a different kind of fantasy. They look at a pile of shit, see everyone agreeing that it tastes awful, and think: “If I eat three piles of shit and scream about how delicious it is, that makes me a gigachad.”

Come on, man. Wake up.

This. You don't have to belittle someone's preference just because it isn't your preference.Personally, I get on these kinds of games to kill stuff and move on. If I want less or more difficulty, I'll go with an easier or harder class/spec.

Right now in trying out a Smith-specced warrior I'm struggling with boss fights. I spent 20-30 minutes fighting Jamanra only to run out of potions and eventually die because I wasn't doing enough damage and I'm not tanky enough to ignore the hits. Eventually I accepted a friend's help when I got him down to 30% and ran out of pots. It was the same experience in Act 3 with Silverfist.

For me, it's not fun spending THAT much time on one fight when most of it is just avoiding getting killed in 1 or 2 hits.

You mean have a life mode and a virgin mode?
I choose life mode every time, since I'm far from a virgin
YES PLEASE, I NEED A SOY-MODE ALREADY. THIS GAME FEELS LIKE A CHORE, YOU SHOULD PAY ME TO PLAY THIS.
Been saying this since day 1. Just do it like the split difficulties in POE1.

now you know a lot more people will play the easier mode, but at least the hardcore circle jerk players can go play the hard modes.

(even I played Ruthless a bit when i was feeling that kind of game play).
I'm done buying anything until we get some clarity on the future of POE1 and POE2 and I know GGG plans to spend effort on a game I want to play.

Tell us if POE1 still has your top tier support or if POE2 will get a mode for more casual play.
I DONT WANT TO TAP DANCE 25 BUTTONS TO KILL WHITE MOBS.. I CAME FROM POE1 BECAUSE I WANTED A MORE CHILL GAME
please do this or just ignore them, so tired of it making games that had great potential turn into puddles of screen clearing games where nothing matters.

Make blasting a genre so the people that want that slop can play games with the tag , blaster.

arpgs do not equal mindless math blaster by default or definition.

So basically, you want slow blasting with spam rolling in between. Nice.

FYI, the complaints aren't about actual difficulty, they are about poor implementation and design of difficulty.

Not true, most of the complaints are absolutely about difficulty and those should be shut down. It also doesn't help saying they aren't because it overshadows the proper feedback.

I've already seen comments like "I like melee in PoE1"

These kind of comments can't be taken seriously...
"Sigh"
