A possible solution might be that disenchanting an item does not destroy the items, it just gives you some of the shards and gives you a white item back. I think that this would substantially help crafting and would fit perfectly thematically.


I think disenchanting should work at the crafting bench.

Also, do you think we should be able to get lots more gold from monster drop stacks/breakables instead of being able to sell items for gold? Selling items gets very tedious and somewhat time consuming. I liked gambling with the "random gear" vendor when I'm high on gold every once in a long while in 0.1.0. I also love respeccing my character (which costs lots of gold sometimes). Vendor prices would have to increase because of it, but I think it would be a nice change.
How many of orbs, that you refuse to use are in your stashes? :)
