GGG a non vocal majority are loving the direction of the game

Please don't turn PoE2 into a reskinned PoE1 because of a crying vocal minority. The point of PoE2 was to make something unique and engaging in a different way.

Alot of us are loving the gameplay of Dawn of the hunt, stay strong, don't fold on your core principles, people will adapt and learn to enjoy something new and innovative.

I quite enjoy it so far. Technical issues totally ruined the launch unfortunately.

Exactly 160k on steam playing at 3 AM. The people who are complaining here are the people who couldn't hack it and got filtered so they have nothing better to do then whine on the forums and try to blackmail the devs to making this game turn into D4.

The game is not dead. The game is more successful then poe1 ever was or ever will be. The game is not for you. Go play D4 that's the only game you'll ever be able to wrap your brain around

Corpochills are one of the reason GGG has been so tonedeaf about the situation so far .
All you are doing is speed-running them through the cliff so keep doing that , the sooner they crash & burn the sooner they may finally have a moment of clarity .

Other countries exist. I won’t go to D4 as I’ve done everything there is to do there. Given I did everything there is to do here, and even a mid-high minion build takes 20+ min to clear a juiced 15+why would I relevel something to get to that snail’s pace?

Fortunately I’m ok not gaming. “Hacking it” has nothing to do with it. I don’t do “tedious for the sake of being tedious”.

First of all, I agree with you: Making PoE 2 just a reskinned version of PoE 1 is not the way to go.

But when we're talking about "minorities" and "majorities", it's always good to back claims like that up with numbers and facts. And the facts tell us that more than half of the players trying PoE 2 at launch are now gone - they are not playing. By someone that actually cares about the meaning of certain words, that may be called a "majority". Going further, we also see a lot of people complaining about the current patch, both when it comes to gameplay, balance, fun and performance.

My point? GGG should absolutely listen to feedback, because the numbers here aren't even surpassing PoE 1 league launch numbers, especially when PoE 2 numbers (Steam) include Chinese players, while PoE 1 numbers do not, as far as I know. And while I think money was the biggest reason for doing an EA, I also think they want the feedback, both direct feedback through comments, but also indirect feedback through internal numbers.
