Dodge roll is bad. It also has no iframes.
the dodgeroll does have i-frames, but it doesn't apply to area attacks. but if there would not be any iframe at all, you couldn't dash behind a boss while he's swinging his axe horizontally, could you?
edit for clarification:
the dodge roll does have i-frames, but:
#1 it only works for direct attacks (both melee and projectiles) but not ground attacks.
#2 the i-frames are not for the entire duration of the dodge roll, only a portion of it
Thank you for educating them. Also, certain attacks can be used at almost the exact same time as DR, so one can just spam them together. It really needs some sort of very short cd, like 0.5-1 seconds.
