The trading system in PoE 2 has been absolutely infuriating after playing for a few days!

When trying to buy Tablets, Jewels, and other items, I keep running into the same nonsense. I message dozens of people and get zero responses, then suddenly the item's price changes. This is beyond frustrating. Meanwhile, when I try to sell Tablets myself, they get snapped up instantly!!! Is GGG seriously not going to overhaul this archaic trading system???

Another issue: when using Skeletal Reavers, they constantly get stuck in narrow paths, forcing me to face enemies alone!
Bulk consumables not on alva pretty much require TFT on discord to trade properly

Horrible process but that's about the only way

With jewels, it's probably because there are very few people trading anything other than expensive stuff right now

Nature of the beast, Maybe you are messaging people that are AFK or in a map (common) or are doing something and selling something for 10ex just isnt worth the time to portal out or stop whatever they are doing (obviously idk what you are buying or the price of it). Yours could be underpriced which is why people message you so quick.

Just saying if you get 10 messages in 5 mins to buy something you dont HAVE to sell it for the price you put up. Recheck the price and list it for higher, alot of people do that.

There are also people (bots) that post common items for lower than they are actually worth so make others post it for the same amount then the bots turn around and buy those cheaper items. (this would happen with an auction house too but in a different way)

Also its the end of a league not many people care about trading right now.

I prefer a trading system like the WoW auction house—straightforward and transparent, where everything is clear at a glance.

Wow has just any many issues with bots and higher end players gaming the system and buying out a product to monopolize it and make a lot of gold. Flipping is just as rampant.

It's not gonna happen, the day this happens people will get geared and bored in no times. People fails very hard to understeand that...that's why trading is difficult and inconvenient, GGG knew it and want you to work if you want to bypass the normal character progression.

The currency exchange is already pretty generous by itself, this is the best we gonna get from GGG, an actual Auction House would be a catastrophe, it doesn't compare to an AH in WoW where the best stuff in the game is soulbound and only drop in raids, otherwise there would be no AH in WoW either.

trading is pretty easy once you get use to it. I always succeed buying anything i wanted in a short time. I would prefer an AH tho so i don't have to alt/tab out of the game but if you have a basic understanding of the trade site and don't trye to buy 1ex items last week of a league it's not hard, tedious sure but definitly workable.

Yesterday I checked the price of the Prism of Belief Diamond at 70 Divine Orbs (D). Today, after finally saving up enough D, I went to buy it—only to find it had jumped to 80D. I sold a rare piece of gear to cover the cost, but then the price shot up to 88D. When I tried to message the seller, there was no response, and suddenly it hit 100D. This kind of manipulative inflation is utterly demoralizing.

Yes it has as many problems, but it functions 10 times better and you don't have to wait to buy stuff or even needing the seller to be online.

The positives are just so much better and the negatives stay the same.
