1. trade and there are crafting, not my problem you don't know how to craft xD
2. your build is crap also you don't know what dodge button is for, you can make ANY boss and get 0 damage lol

This thread was posted before they just nerfed everything. I wonder how many more casuals will quit the game faster in 0.2 when everything is more difficult because everything got nerfed?

I predict 0.2 will be an absolute disaster for player count.

POE 2 was my introduction to Path of Exile and GGG. I had no prior knowledge or experience of the first game; I just jumped right into POE 2 Early Access and fell in love with it (even went back and started playing the first game).

I would definitely concede the point that the game is not for everyone, but I would argue that anyone who typically likes ARPGs can play it and be successful. It just takes a little more effort.

It's a challenging game and they expect you to be able to really think about things and naturally explore and learn the game. This isn't really common in a lot of modern games anymore, where there are entire new-player experiences and tutorials. I think in that regard, GGG lets their community help one another more.

To be clear, some people won't enjoy the game and that is okay, just because something is popular with some people doesn't mean you will necessarily like it. That doesn't mean anything is inherently wrong with the game, it's just not for you.

In any event, maybe the game would be more enjoyable if you had a group of players to help you out and play with. Feel free to PM me if you wanna try playing with our crew, we're happy to help answer questions or party up, etc.

Otherwise, if you're just not sold on the game, no biggie. Thanks for at least trying it out and sharing your thoughts :)

but harder game is better, easy games are boring AF and that make ppls quit, elden ring have lot of ppls playing some how xD

Most of the game is actually way too easy.

The game is completely trivialized by trading. A week into the league you can max out your resists at a very low level with just a few exalts to trade. Then the game becomes much easier.

Get yourself a good weapon for a few exalts. Max out resists. Breeze through.

starting fresh is a little more difficult and longer than POE1 but the end game is much easier.

But I come from console so the crossplay market makes it 1000x easier because you don't have to self craft every single rare that you use like you have to in POE1 since there is literally nothing to buy on the market.
