Warning for Ultra widescreen Mod after I disabled it

I noticed there's a new race event happening soon:

I wonder if they will still be limiting aspect ratio to 16:9 in the new event, I couldn't see any information regarding that in the announcement. They also aren't mentioning anything about a certain mod not being allowed (that was mentioned explicitly last time).

Maybe it means there is hope that they are realizing the ridiculousness of this situation.

Really lowers the experience of the game with those black bars. I would've probably not supported if I know this would end up in this way.

It is necessary to implement it! I have a lot of friends who are playing LE because of no BlackBoxes on the sides. It just looks so much better on Widescreen and i can tell you i travel to LAN events and i have the samsung odyssee 57 inch monitor.... guess who has viewers all the time behind his back complaining why this game isnt fullscreen.

Pls add it to the game you will much more people happy than angry.

But using the aspect ratio as an excuse is ridiculous. They say aspect ratio gives an advantage, but still natively support 21:9. Not everyone has an ultrawide monitor. So the 16:9 players are disadvantaged. Just seems ironic.

21:9 is the standard these days,you basicly have to go out of your way to end up with 16:9 or have a older pc

the vast majority uses it

its just common sense to use it as base to balance the game and rules around it

Doesn't matter until 100% of the players use it. If that's the excuse they use, then they need to make it fair for everyone. Lock it at 16:9 or support new aspect ratios as well.

stopped playing a few months ago, mainly because of this "problem" - any news on this topic? anything new about 32:9 support?

if you`re using 16:10 office monitors you`re even more disadvantaged cause you see less of the game on either side.
