" I've no doubt that most the missing classes are actually done or nearly done and being held back for player retention however. PoE1 beta had considerably more skills and build variety than PoE2 currently has. It also had better mechanics for those builds. You might be confused in how PoE1 started out compared to it's later years though. I'm an example of that. I knew PoE1 closed beta was out but I didn't pay for access. I waited until open beta. The league system was also first introduced 2 years after closed beta. There's no real evidence that the big patch league concept was a good idea when they started out since their player numbers were quite small. I did not invested into PoE1 until I started seeing money going back into the game and felt they could be trusted. Something which is especially important to newer players I'd imagine. So now we have considerably more players with considerably higher expectations with a very bare bones games who would laugh at GGG if they tried some of those early leagues. I doubt even releasing a class would do much given how poorly designed the current ones are. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac
