Give Kripparrian his own unique item.

its amazing you people treat this guy like a celebrity.. almost as amazing as someone thinking a stream of a video an arpg is worth watching.

I do not believe he deserves his own unique. Yes he has done a lot, but it would be extremely preferential treatment. And what happens if he leaves and somebody takes his place? Should they get their own unique? It would establish a bad precedent for the game imo.

Just watch it simply: i like Kripp's videos,but i don't watch his streaming.I don't care how someone else playing because i have my own style.Onthe other hand,he gives everybody useful tips and advices.That's why it is good to "follow" him.If you just think about his builds:ele-cleaver,wander,FP marauder etc etc...okay..but not everybody playing those styles.I'm a CI witch and he hasn't speaking about it more than like 1,5 min.An to be honest if you are an intelligence player,you most know that everybody has his/her OWN build,which can be based on one of Kripp's,but it's different in some cases.I'm also using an other guys talent because it gives me more stats i'm less likely to be killed cause i got evasion beside of the ES and other things as well,but i made it also to be my own build because i changed some things which i think better for me and suits more to my playing style.that's all.copy paste in POE should be the biggest joke anyway if you think about your possibilites in builds,gears and so on...

Anyway go and name the set of the Demigods to "Race-king Kripp" and there you go with your special unique idea.

I think itd be cool if Krip made a unique because he is so learned in the game. His idea would be influenced by his many followers probably and it would be very well thought out. That being said there are many other streamers and it's unfair to give someone that ability when others are not getting it. That also being said, they can do whatever they want and if they wanted to do this for Krip, they already would have. Who knows, maybe in a conversation with Chris, Krip already influence one or two of the uniques in the game. He could also easily donate $1000 to do so. So really its up to GGG and Krip but I have not seen any indication of him wanting to do this. Hes more of a player than a designer.

Good points, all. If he's made so much money off this game (and I'm sure he's doing fine), he could easily just do what the rest of us unique-makers did and pony up.

And there are other streamers working almost as hard, if harder, as Kripp -- but that may lead to a tangent in which I've little interest. It's enough to state that and move on.

As I said, if the 'gifting' of a silver kiwi got folks riled, I cannot imagine what gifting a diamond kiwi (essentially) would do.

That alone is why I think this is a stupid thread. It would never happen, should never happen.

Hasn't GGG worked with Brother Laz on the Facebreakers and the newest unique bow? Pretty sure Notch from Minecraft also made a unique. Did they donate or just GGG working with people who know about games to make items? If they never donated then I don't see why they couldn't work with Krip to make a unique item.

I don't know about Notch about i am pretty sure brother work for GGG so..

Brother Laz works for/with GGG to create many of the uniques that Diamond supporters won't -- those intermittent 'so-so' uniques that must exist. Build-makers at times (Facebreaker), but often just there to be used if you want: Aurumvorax and Springleaf, for example, are neither useless nor brilliant.

personally they shouldn't just give krip a free pass for the unique


but I do think the season wide 1st place race winner should get to design one. This almost assuredly would go to kripp... not because hes popular but because he is the best at this game.
