Trial of sekhemas is the worst part of the game.

Trial of Sekhema is actually pretty good. You have to learn the mechanics a bit, but it gets a lot easier when you get 75% honour res and understand which boons and afflictions are good and bad for you. For me, if I can get the move speed and damage boons, I can pretty much clear floor 4. If not, I just abandon it after finishing floor 3.

That being said, I feel like it's not very rewarding. After getting all 8 passive points, I see little reason to spend my time doing either trial, when I could be spending that time doing maps.
Easily far and above, Ascendancy Trials are the worst part of the game.
It will hurt the game in the long run.

If it stays like this, i will only be making one character, on standard. It's incredibly unfair to melee builds, i've listed the number of builds its bad for elsewhere.

Learning the mechanics doesn't change the bosses mechanics.
Taking less 'honour' damage when close doesn't change the bosses massive damage.
Getting resistance relics doesn't stop the bosses massive damage to 'honour' meter, which if we're being honest should be called 'cowardice' meter.
Besides the campaign, I actually feel like the Trial of the Sekhemas is the best part of the game - but I'm playing a no es, evasion or armour caster, so take that with a grain of salt. Obviously it's not great for all character types and fundamental changes to its mechanics could make it a lot better. I just don't like the new atlas system, so I mainly run trials.
I hate it and I cant' find the thing that lets me do ultimatum to try and get my ascension points that way.
