No respect for time

After the recent interview and announcements there were a few things that are starting to become very clear.
GGG is used to having hardcore players that spend hundreds, thousands even of hours in the game farming out and bashing their head against the wall to enjoy the game. Personally that's absolutely fine, if that's the game they want to create and audience they want to target, nice, happy for them i can partake during free time from work etc. However i've spent roughly 400 hours in this game to date, i No-lifed it for a period until i had to go back to work and i'm noticing something very disturbing. When i was off work, GAMIN!, i could rake inn 5-10 div's / day (i'm not amazing at the game ok, not super endgame person so not doing the dusins for divs), and I could have an amazing time. Second i went back to work and only got 2-3 hours a day at best to play the game it slowed down considerably, my clearspeed is the same but my time is absolutely down to luck if it's enjoyable or not. (lottery is more rewarding...) Pure RNG if i get an upgrade, which yet to happen but that's a whole different story (bows suck for stats...) The opportunity to upgrade my gear is limited even in tradeleague, i get at best 1 div a day, meaning id have to wait a full week to be able to try anything like f.ex audience with the king. And listening to GGG talk about how everything is fine, they are happy with how it launched and they will make some minor tuning, but they like the RNG at the moment, don't like implicits on boots.... I don't think they have any understanding or even can relate to people with limited hours to play. I clearly understand why people are frustrated and as a person that had available time to play it did not feel great going back to limited time to play. The game felt completely different and basically id rather not play it... This relates to tradeleague aswell, IF i was to get anything of mine sold i would have to be online available to trade, this means that with limited time the opportunity to trade is limited and with a flooded market the likelyhood of anyone seeing my "stuff" is unreliable at best. This could be solved with an "afk " warehouse instant buy option, but it doesn't feel like this is a priority. So if I'm understanding this correctly - you are dissatisfied with the fact that your income of ingame currency is lower because you have less time to play.

If the only time you enjoy this game is when you get an upgrade then it might not be the game for you.
I have fun killing monsters, even when I don't find anything. This is important because ALL builds will get to a point where upgrades are harder and harder to come by. It's like approaching an asymptote. Also, you shouldn't attribute your "stuff" not selling to being online less. If you are online 2-3 hours a day like you say, and your items are good and appropriately priced, they would sell. Blaming the trade system stops you from looking further and discovering the real problem with whatever you're trying to sell. |

How do you even manage to grind 10 divs a day? You dont get tired of blasting thru maps holding down 1 button?

the game is a lottery - and to no surprise, sometimes when you go to the casino you don't have a good time either.
in fact .. most of the time you don't. But that is what makes the jackpot so thrilling. |

When all upgrades cost more then few divines, most people stop upgrading and start thinking about next build. Or wait for next league.

" Exactly. Problem is that there's no exciting loot, I mean in theory there is, but every single item you use came from trade, let's be honest. You don't get anything good from the drop, you can't upgrade your items like in D4 from Pits, there's lack of any endgame mechanic that will guarantee you any, even slight upgrade, zero, nothing, it's too much rng involved, so once you hit the wall, for most players it's probably start of the maps and realizing they can buy good stuff for 1-5ex per slot, but if they want something extra the prices skyrocket up to divines, good luck finding them. Hardcore grinders will find meta ways to earn currency, but it shouldn't work like that. There should be multiple viable ways, not just spamming breaches. Oh, and if your build is not fast then forget it - every single mechanic waiting for you during endgame is only clear speed check and if it's not super fast then good luck, have fun chasing Delirium Fog or Breach with minions, especially on indoor maps. " Exactly where do you two think these items that costs this much are coming from? Theres no giga crafting strategy happening so .... " Pretty much for some reason, people who have little time to play think they are entitled to the same things people that have too much time to play.
