Why do people looking forward to economy reset?

Go ahead, have your silly F R E S H server. Let players that want to stay with their current toons enjoy the novel content as it gets released. If you're not interested in playing standard, why do you even care if they get to play the same content?

A lot of players will leave after economy reset, GGG know this. Casual and weekend players, "dad gamers" won't invest their limited time (and real money for trade sites) again to get to the same place they was before reset.

This goes both ways. Players that want to see the new stuff but with their current toons will stay playing instead of ghosting when they're told they have to reroll.

Personally I think it will be just fresh economy. At most we'll get a PoE1 league port or maybe some league exclusive items (and exclusive items will still drip into standard due to HC rips). They have too many things to work on to make leagues now. But if you have that mindset you won't enjoy game after EA because once EA ends there WILL be league exclusive content, it's unavoidable.

Players claim its the fresh start that draws people to a league. My point is that, while that may be true for some, the exclusive content is what truly drives engagement. GGG loses nothing by letting Standard realms experience that novel content along with the current league, as the reset is most definitely a huge turnoff for some.

I bought top tier minion gear about 10 days in for 50-60 EX each, sold last week for 30ish divs.

Divs was 10-11 EX, today its 110 EX

How long does it take you to farm 60 ex vs 30 divs?

It never is though. People like new leagues because they get to play SSF for a few days in trade. Once all the bots and RMT ruin the economy, it's just business as usual.
