PoE 2 servers are restarting in:

There is a very serious problem with the game right now (Actual Mafia Activity)

Once upon a time I wrote a post about how exceedingly unlikely it is for an average person to craft an item good enough to overcome the pinnacle content in PoE1 by legitimate means.

people have always been beating the hardest content in poe1 solo self found in hardcore while streaming the entire thing so we can all see theyre in no way cheating.

this statement is very far from reality. people can beat all the pin content with pretty trash gear, way below the level of stuff any serious journeyman can craft.

Its become quite clear to me that these nefarious entities are handily capable of entering individual players game sessions and in real time manipulating the numeric information that the player is sending off to GGG's servers including populating the map with unkillable enemies and deleting loot drops from the map and even spawning rare monsters out of bounds to make maps unclearable.

this isnt happening. i promise you that you are jumping at shadows m8, i say this with genuine care for you on a human level. recognise this is paranoid madness and detach from this entire avenue of thought before u drive urself crazy over nothing.

I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
If you give someone your sessionID voluntarily, I don't know what to tell you.

You can go download the filterblade item filter, look inside it to see if it has any executable code that connects to a third party - find there is none - and drop it in your filter folder.

Your full account name is always visible to anyone and has been for ages. If they had some method of using just the account name to access your account, this would be a hilarious vulnerability.

Stop reusing passowrds, enable 2FA to your email and Steam. Heck, use a Linux liveCD to set new passwords in every service on a fresh out-of-the-box machine then just return it as it wasn't to your needs.
Imagine not being taught to wear your tin foil hat in Kindergarten.

I liked the thread where you said that your atlas fog should be investigated by the FBI better, but this is still pretty good.

That one was just a silly one for sure

Im also quite happy that it was just a fog of war bug and not at all a permanent state

Full stops are not just for ellipses and the end of a paragraph.

I did not suggest you enable 2FA on the POE account, I suggested you "enable 2FA to your email and Steam".

Thanks for the reply.
