If I wasn't saving up to buy a good ES chest then I would probably try to buy it. moving from 4L to 6L will probably be the best money atm. In a few weeks will be looking for wands again.
On the note of imbued vs tornado vs prophecy wand: it's an interesting debate. If you are crafting I would always go with imbued wands. Tornado wands and Prophecy wands CAN almost equal the imbued wand dps. And with lower attacks per second / more crit chance they will be saving you mana. However mana isn't generally a problem except for crazy linked (e.g. chain-gmp-faster attacks - increased crit damage - weapon elemental damage) AoE attacks , and once you are that far I don't think the reduced APS will help you. So imbued wands will always have higher potential dps, but tornados opals and prophecy wands are always worth id'g and can potentially equal a high end imbued wand. My plan for when I craft wands is the following (need more currency...) Alteration to 140%+ phys dmg and 30% + crit chance. Acceptable prefix replacements would be 65%+phys dmg/83+accuracy or 19-33 added phys dmg and then +20% attack speed or +300 accuracy as suffixes. When you regal it, you really really want to be getting another phys dmg mod, but a good suffix that you didn't get before is acceptable. If everything else is great and you end up rolling a high added ele dmg roll then it's probably okay you are missing a phys dmg roll. We'll see if those goals are too high for the cost. |

" Don't listen to any of these kids and their opinions. Most of them think you must have perfect stats on all rolls to be mirror worthy. If there are people out there who would gain an upgrade from this, even if it's 10%, then these are priceless. It's the same reason people buy Calogne and Perfume that cost 10cents to make.... for over 200 hundred dollars. They want the best and they can afford it. By their logic: since 50% spell damage costs 1 GCP, then 100% spell dmg would cost 2 GCP right? And so on? They do not understand that the best wand currently will always have mirror value. Regardless of current stats. If I had the mirror I would mirror your SD Wand in a heartbeat. Im sure you will get many mirrors until better wands surface. The phy wand is far from #1, I know several people with better ones and theirs isn't even mirror worthy. matter of fact no phy wand is mirror worthy because they have very little value due to not being enough players playing PS builds. I like how OP told a few ppl bin was 15 es with a c/o of 13 to get a easy sale, then told me it was 25 ex.. this guy clearly is nothing more then a troll with above average wands thinking hes got something amazing here. " I hear ya...mirroring jewelry, gloves, boots,etc def takes a back seat to getting a good 6L body or weapon. But SC is getting to the point where a very small % of people are maxed on gear, are are willing to mirror a amulet, or wand, or boots, etc. I'm not saying that's a good thing or bad thing, that's just where we are at right now. The whole imbued/tornado/prophecy thing? Don't get me started. I started crafting with imbued's, but spent a ton of currency on ilvl 79 wands and never got anything. RNG, I know. Tried prophecy, decent results, but when a tyrannical/mastery wand rolls at 1.10 aps, you want to throw up. Just thought tornado was the best of both worlds (speed/dmg) vs my cost: any ilvl 79 wand can roll max caster mods (glyphic prefix is ilvl 79), but if you roll top physical dmg on a slow wand, kinda sucks. It's ok if you don't understand economy , it doesn't affect others decisions . There has already been 1 mirror done and I myself would gladly pay 40 exalts for this wand. If even 1 player plays a particular build, then a BiS item can easily be worth a mirror since the stats in question are still the best and cannot be found so easily. The person with the BiS item can sit on it forever with that price and I promise you that 1 person will save up his 40 Ex and mirror it eventually.
