[3.28]juju's Shockwave Totem Guide || King of Sanctum || Blight || League start || Boss and mapping!

Done a fair amount of sanctums this league focusing on going fast since too afraid to try no hit runs. 2 scriptures out of 465 relics. Some thoughts: -I like haste with guardian's blessing over hatred - not much DPS loss for extra MS. -Foulborn badge is extra MS. Harder/more expensive to get a +1 curse corrupt, but at high enough damage you never really even get to cast a second curse anyway. Speaking of which, I like cursed ground imbued on ele weakness. Lets you throw it down in prep for the boss rather than having another button to press once they are damageable. -New 3.28 fracturing orb/refracting fog tech for cluster jewels so you can get Pressure points + purposeful harbinger on mediums and Arcane Heroism + Force Multiplier on Large (Battle-Hardened needs to be 3rd notable). -I think raise spectre is worth a single gem slot. Running Perfect Pain Artist for the crit multi and Spectral Leader which has a 20% action speed aura. The leader always has his aura up with imbued more duration and will give you some extra MS when it snaps to you while running through a room. And I'm pretty sure it gives the action speed to your totems for extra DPS doing floor bosses. -My pet project has been Pious Path FF jewels + Rational Doctrine + Mind Over Matter for big boost to max hit, faster ES regen for spamming totems, and faster recovery overall since the dmg/regen are split over ES and life. Probably not worth it for sanctum only over rare jewels but it's comfy. -Haste phasing watcher's eye mod is also super comfy, especially in maps but I think still noticeable in sanctum. |

How often do you die? seems kinda dangerous to play without steelskin and this low life :D Do you have configured pob with spectres? currently have 860mil dps swt -hatred vs zealotry on ag would result me +2movement speed and -30mil dps. With endgame budget sure i may do this. On lower budget dont think would be worth but lmao think going to switch for that juicy 2ms :p -foulborn badge: I have tested both and i feel like 120% cooldown recovery for flame dash/phasing is more impactful. On rooms where need to use flame dash it feels so much better. Have so much cooldown that phaserun feels like permanent even if i do flame dash around :D Also i have been using runegraft '20% chance to not consume cooldown' and this make it even stronger. I have to say that completely forgout about 30% buff runegraft. With current setup 30% graft would only be worth for steelskin to have like 95% uptime. With current setup my phaserun cd is 1,49s while it lasts 2.34s -badge +1curse: with current setup it still adds +12% more dps. Without assasin mark i have 97% crit and 50multi is still a lot of dps (also higher shock) In 3.26 i did use frostbite instead assasins mark for mega endgame just because balance of terror 10% cold exposure mod. In pob these two are close to same dps but with assasins mark u get more shock effect that wont show up in pob. Caster mastery also gives 6% cast speed for each curse casted so thats some more damage. -cursed ground: Yeah this is pretty good when cooked into gem. I am personally so used to insta cast ele weak/assa on boss i dont really feel like need cursed ground. My shield gives +4to ele weak and 24/25ele weak has same breakpoint so i did just buy cursed ground ele weaknes. Thanks for tip :D! -clusters: yeah been using these but for second medium using spiked concoction for more movement speed and 5% cast speed. Yeah tech wont work with 5flask mb ^^ -spectre: i did test spectres in 3.26 but somehow it felt like i was taking way more random damage when guards attacks spectres with aoe skills and then i walk straight into it not knowing. Cant remember at what point my gear was when tested it but also never felt there was a skill gem slot for it (i wont drop qol automation+rf+steel+phase setup) but in this league i may still test it if get AG gem with meat shield support cooced in for +1gem slot. Well see ^^ Afaik action speed only works for totem placement speed but in this case im not sure if it goes straight to totem for more cast speed. ff/RD/MoM: back in 3.25 and before ralakesh nerf my setupd had balanced str/int for rational doctor but impossible to fit with current build. Have two small mana reserve clusters so can use corrupted belt/amu/ring and no need for enligten to waste a skill gem. I have very bad experience using MoM with this build. It has gotten me more killed than anything. Feels so bad when you dont suddenly have es/mana to place totem or flame dash. Big no for me personally even if it would add +1000es. -watchers eye: For me two best mods are hatred crit+haste cooldown for movement skills. your setupd has probably so much damage that u could drop something for sure for more speedZ than damage :D This is my personal favorite ring for build edit: also since we scale a lot of aura effect having high lvl vitality gives a lot of regen and it feels like having instant life flask on all the time. At the point I started hardcore running sanctum, I stopped doing any kind of mapping and dropped a lot of % life nodes/regen. I die very occasionally in Sanctum, maybe 1/50 runs or something. Some "always crits" mobs or the bow sniper mob - avoidable if I paid more attention or put down more totems. MOM + Eldritch Battery gives me ~3K phys max hit, 10K ele which is obviously tiny but pretty good relative to other SWT sanctum builds I see on ninja. Pious Path means I net regen ~500 ES/s - I've never run into a situation where I can't cast SWT.
Pobbing Hatred <-> Haste for me is 4% more damage and -8% MS. re:Badge - Totally forgot about the CDR for movement skills. I could see it coming in handy for floor 4 (or 3?) where the shortcut requires 3 dashes and you gotta wait if you miss one. And for phase run when it gets interrupted early. But 22% unconditional MS is too hard to give up for me. With runegraft of the warp there is like a 0.1 second gap in phase run assuming I'm not using any skills. Spiked concoction is neat but I do not want to have to press a flask lol (or a second curse). The "when full" enchant only really works in rooms and "on hitting a unique enemy" didn't work for totems hitting when I tried it. re:spectres - also didn't think about them aggroing enemies. Maybe I've died because of it, not sure. I'll try and pay closer attention. And for the leader, it's a big circle that effects me and I *think* effects totems if they're in it. If I throw "nearby allies have 20% increased action speed" into PoB custom mods it does add to the sheet DPS. But PoB not always right. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a double MS precursor. Always a headache to rebalance attributes, though lol. re:vitality, I dropped it to add zealotry - was previously just getting a free weaker zealotry from the Perfect Pain Artist. I am still netting almost 500 life/s without. Could get to 600 with the extra endurance charge on the left side, but haven't felt the need. " Yeah pious path is reason why mom is usable in ur setup. Without that its a deathtrap :D In every floor there are spots where you save a lot of time just flame dashing around, also it kinda works as a defence too avoiding shit than just running in a line. Have enchant on flask if forget to click my progenesis (already have so much dps no need for dps flask) and if i flame dash over mobs then it triggers. Pretty sure spectres can also trigger 'Guards release a Volatile Anomaly on Death ' affliction and yeah you have probably died because of having spectres :D I have to test again how it feels using spectres there since it has been some time when tested. If done sanctum rush on league start i remember many times dying because of having golem and guards attack him and i walk into it xD By poewiki totems count as allies so action speed should work then! You are missing the biggest DPS node on tree that does not show up in pob but its for sure highgest DPS node for this build = Crit masterys 50% effect of ailments(shock). With this node i bet you get over 40% shock when hit double damage with extra lightning ^^ edited ur pob little, around 1.6bil dps: https://pobb.in/G0ZbO_f_qFaV - Freeze toggled - 40% shock, if you add that 50% crit mastery prolly highger in reality (vs lycia) - You and Nearby Allies have 56 to 88 added Cold Damage (you had lightning version) - Inflict Cold Exposure on Hit, applying -16% to Cold Resistance (ag gloves, just wanted to see numbers, yeah ag usually dont even have time to hit enemies on super min/max versions) You could literally drop over half of damage for speed/defence to be real. I have found that around 500mil dps is a sweet spot where increasing ms/cooldown/cast speed is straightly better than added 'damage' to speed run sanctums. Even with my current 860m dps setup and if have all worst afflictions i can kill lycia last phase in 2-3seconds max | |

I've played around a bit with the crit mastery and starlight chalice which are worded similarly. Idk if they straight up don't work ("you" not being your totems, I know the staff crit multi mastery works for this reason), or there is some delay in the enemy tooltip on their ailments, or if I never ended up hitting double damage proc after, but hitting starlight chalice even with the 70% effect enchant did not change shock effect at all across a lot of runs/bosses.

" Theay both work on totems 100%. Starlight chalises exposure mod you have to use after boss spawns or its exposure wont apply but ailment effect works for sure ^^ I did week 1-2 of league over 500uber maven runs with my swt and yeah can confirm there is something off about shock number on bosses. With my uber bosser version i did have 50% shock on maven when DD/tripple procked. But the thing was it usually aplied the same tick when boss goes to invuln phase like wtf? Maybe its visual bug or server tick stuff or something about dd/tripple damage messing. Shock numbers seems very random at times on bosses with swt. My guess is that game somehow wont just update real shock number. Too many cast/totems attacking at once or something :D But for sure shock effect works and scaling it is very big DPS boost |
