Another Rarity thread ^^

Quantity desperately needs some more diminishing returns applied to it to cancel out those crazy 0.01% parties doing crazy farming shit that breaks league markets.

Quantity is definitely a bigger problem then rarity. They are getting confused and mixed together by people a lot since for some reason item rarity has a ton of weird effects in PoE2 EA that it didn't in PoE1.

I think if GGG does this, it will create an even more bigger problem. We'll have to wait for the next succeeding patch to get a grasp on what GGG truly wants for POE 2. If they really want POE 2 to be significantly slower than POE 1 then this might be in their bucket list, if not, I think they should do something about loot distribution. The loot distribution on rare, magic and white mobs is just too imbalance right now.

From what I am seeing and this is just strictly my opinion, breach is a major contributing factor on why EA economy hasn't fully collapsed yet but this is an entirely separate discussion and not the intended topic of this thread.

Most of them did, this whole thing is nonsensical
It's great to have more empirical data.

But this sample size is quite small in the grand scheme of things, and there's other practical tests of similar sample sizes that seems to demonstrate the exact opposite.

My personal experience has been that rarity seems extremely important, and that without rarity the overall quality of rares, number of divines, and number of decent uniques you find is extremely poor.

This was the feeling I got WELL before the "streamer influenced hatred toward MF" or however you'd like to describe it.

Also not at all convinced that "you can hit max MF with waystone mods".

I have a full week of playing 14h/day with over 500% and ended with 643% rarrity

only t17-t18 maps

NO MAP has ever given me 2 divines ...maximum was 1
I had many streaks of 4-5 maps where i was leaving the map with 2 exalts and some other regals alch etc...
I also had streaks of maps with 2-3 breaches in the map ( fully invested 8 points in breaches) where I was leaving the map with 4-5 exalts and other low currencies ... clear was great from the spark guy and I was the culler wearing grave bind

that should tell you enough to understand that the problem is not rarrity ...

now what people are seeing , watching Empirian party play is diffrent ... it`s Quantity stacking ... you have 100% increased quantity for currency drops for each player in party that`s 500% ... then you have 120-150% quantity from tablets ...and another 100-200 quant from Juiced maps ... that is all multiplicative ... and that's what creates those loot drops !!!
