GGG sold POE

"

This is when Tencent bought a portion.
Not completly sold out like they did now :D
without even mentioning anything.
GGG Remained independent and continued working.
Now its all 10cents.
Thats why micro transactions were ready at this release but everything else its what it is.

Yes an employee has stated that the game was delayed for weeks because the launch bundle mtx were not ready and if the game does not reach elden ring success it will just be abandoned, well it has been very successful so we will see what happens next but everything that guy said has become true so far, ergo we play tencents vision now.

MTX also means stash tabs... None of the visual stuff I have even works in POE2, I'm sure that's the same for most ppl.

Dude, just chill, it's early access, this is the time that ggg have to find the errors and correct them...in 3 weeks we will got the announce of next POE 1 league anyway

Yes sit's early access, but this is just PoE 1 with keyboard movements. Anything else might just as well have been a other league in PoE 1. There is nothing different, its the exact same game. just stripped back to first launch.

Look at PoE2. Ignore the story and the fact some enemies/items look different. Or that the bosses are named differently. What REALLY changed? Anything in the game can be done in PoE1 with a new league.

Yes the gems work differently. But not really. This would be the same as saying if you put gem A and B in a skill slot in PoE1. You just get skill C added to your skill slots. That could be done in a leageu. They would not thi beca

That could be done in a league. They would not tho because they already have to many skills and making a link skill for all of them would be to much work. But it CAN be done fairly easy. Just a lot of work.

Hell they just took stuff from PoE1 and copy pasted it to PoE2. The AH we all wanted for AGES. Na, just take the currency exchange we already tested in PoE1.

Keyboard movement? Could have been added at any time in PoE1

Items? "The Adorned" is a example of a simple copy past. Not even changing the look or what it does.

That's not a new and different innovating game. That's a game where they had a new story writen and some skins changed. That's all PoE2 is atm.
It aaaall makes sence now.
The Ready MTX on release but our old MTX is not ready.
The state of the game.
The timed release.

Six years ago talking about 3.X releases and a 4.0 release... reading it in 2025 and we're still waiting on 3.26.

They completly sold the game out without even saying anything.
Thats explains why we got what we got!
They sold all the shares completly and piece outed it seems.

tencent has owned GGG since 2018..... Like do you know nothing about ownership and stocks??? Once someone owns more than 50% it doesn't matter what anyone else owns, it's called a controlling interest. Chris and Jonathan each had a board seat while tencent had 3. If they wanted to force anything to happen they could have since 2018. That last 13% was just money for them to cash out at some point it had no real voting power. All that being said tencent basically lets GGG run themselves outside of China. It's why chinese poe has very different features and monetization.

This is incorrect. The board consists of 6 members. Chris, Jonathan and Erik plus 3 ‘Tencent’ (technically it’s a sister company that actually owns the entire 100% of shares) members.
In any vote there could be a draw between GGG and Tencent but as Chris is the chairman he would have deciding vote to break such a tie.

Tencent also has a heavy history of not interfering with its assets, excepting demands for changes to its domestic versions (which is why PoE 1 was … I suspect poe2 is all of us in together… different in China).
They (Tencent) leave publishers do their thing and sell out of they think the publisher is a loss leader.
This is basically what you said later, and were correct.

As for the post of 6 years ago, GGG has already broken half of those promises before PoE2

GGG had 2 spots and they have 5 board members total, according to the NZ government and erik hasn't had a board spot since 2018. Unless you're telling me they're lying to the New Zealand government about who works for their company, but you're likely just misinformed on the subject. https://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/companies/app/ui/pages/companies/1887410/directors
