T15+ waystones shouldnt drop low tier waystones
I am bad at math but basically
to reforge a tier 15 it will take this many waystones per tier 14,348,907 Tier 1 waystones 1,594,323 Tier 2 waystones 531,441 Tier 3 waystones 177,147 Tier 4 waystones 59,049 Tier 5 waystones 19,683 Tier 6 waystones 6,561 Tier 7 waystones 2,187 Tier 8 waystones 729 Tier 9 waystones 243 Tier 10 waystones 81 Tier 11 waystones 27 Tier 12 waystones 9 Tier 13 waystones 3 Tier 14 waystones So if im running a tier 15+ map with all the possible atlas nodes that give higher quantity, rarity, and tier with half my gear sacrificed to get enough rarity to even get map drops at all, why do I still get waystone tiers below 5? I feel like there should be a waystone tier floor -2 or 3 tiers down for all drops within maps, because if i have 600% waystone drop chance and I get 12 tier 6 and below and 1 tier 15 grey map its basically like I got 1 map because I am not gonna reforge 19,000 tier 6s for 1 single map. Maybe if it auto merged them in a waystone tab or something but thats like hours of reforging manually. Last bumped on Jan 7, 2025, 8:50:56 AM

Refocus on damage and get the +25% more waystones from bosses. I get 2-3 tier15 waystones per boss on ~+200% increased waystones tier15 waystones.

I'm going to have to voice my firm disagreement on this one.
I understand the sentiment, but personally I find that the drops are a really nice spread of waystones, and already fairly biased towards dropping bigger ones even without using talents to force the chance in that direction. I know its frustrating going into a t15 and getting t1s, but at the same time, I also like to have easy access to new character training wheels, across a wide spread of tiers to ramp them organically up to what they can handle. |

" I don't think you understood what I am saying, I mean I ran t15 maps for 1 day without min maxing rarity on my gear and kneecapping my build, and I eventually ran out of t15 maps without dying and wasting maps. The last 10 I put max ex and a vaal orbs on each one with double corruption traversal on average 400-500%+ waystone drop chance and still had only 1 t15 every few t15 traversals. As soon as I got rarity over 150% I started getting t15s to sustain. All I'm saying is there shouldnt be a need for rarity to sustain mapping whether the solution needs to be a floor or w/e solution GGG comes up with is fine. I just dont wanna have to waste time and money reworking my builds to fit in rarity as a baseline to even be able to play maps. |

" Poor rng. I get one boss every 3 maps, so I'm swimming in t15 waystones. Maybe explore in one direction? I found 3 citadels and 100s of bosses just by going north-east. I wouldn't have a problem if T15 waystone maps would drop in the very worst case T14 maps, but never lower than one tier below.
It's extraordinarily frustrating running T14s and T15s and get bombarded with T1-T6 waystones, it's spitting in the player's eye - this happens even with a fully waystone oriented specced Atlas tree. |

I agree to a point, maps can drop up to 2 tiers above current tier (except 15 that is) I think maps should be incapable of dropping maps over 2 tiers under your current tier.

I want a one button reforge all maps to highest tier possible. I'm tired of getting carpal tunnel from playing Map Reforge Simulator 2025. It's just awful.
