Explain how is it stupid, and tell me about those good ideas then, im all ears, not even joking, tell me.

Instead of solving problems, you just want to hand out rewards so people would turn a blind eye to them.
If you don't see a problem with this, don't count on having any constructive discussion with me.

Lol you literally called my ideas stupid and didnt tell me about the other better ideas you "heard" and youre now talking about constructive discussion? Youre dumb af to be honest, get the hell out of here, and "bad" map layouts are not a problem, they are just a problem for smooth brain people like you, when you play Monster Hunter you go cry on the forums because you have to fight Zinogres to get your Zinogre weapons when you only wanna fight Rathalos?

I seriously cant deal with dumb people...

I agree with not wanting to run the most optimized map for a chosen farming strat over and over again as i believe 'some' forced variety can be good. Running city square 500 times in a row was fun but felt pretty stale.

But i dont want to be bribed into running unfavoured maps even more so.

I'd like something akin to poe1's map favouriting system but updated for poe2.

eg; You get a # of slots to pick favoured/unfavoured maps and irradiating an unfavoured map has a chance of changing it to a favoured map. that's like 50% less Augury/Vaal factory already!

at least it was your farming strategy skilltree, your decision of map with the content in that you wanted. and you are free to change everything about it if you want.
now nothing is our choice

You can call me idiot, dumb whatever you want, but don't insinuate here that I play weeb games.

There's definetely less freedom of choice, but dont think its fair to say nothing is our choise. I choose to ignore most augury/vaal factory maps, i choose what tablets to juice zones with, i choose what waystone to pair with the map and tablet mods, etc. I've got regions of my atlas dedicated for different mechanics rather than swapping between 3 atlas trees/scarabs.

thats probably the best way to deal with it, but im still not happy with it. i think about it why these steps back. why so much less freedom and less customizing? for what? if this step back was a drawback to other good gains we get in exchange for, then okay. at least there is some return for it then.
but i cant see them sadly. i cant think of a single aspect of the current atlas thats better than the old one.

You don't see any because there is none.
No matter what issue I look at in this game, I get the impression that the main reason for this state of affairs is that it was meant to look good at the expense of everything else.
I suspect that this EA was simply meant to sell well.

Yeah, I agree. There are a few areas I don't like, because not only are they really cramped, but it can also be very difficult to see where we can walk and where we cannot. Sulfuric Caverns is a good example of this. However, I'm happy to just run a t1 waystone on them, and get them out of the way. It's a lot faster, and I might still get an exalt or two out of it. I save the higher tier waystones for the zones I really like, like Steppe.
