All the chaos ensuing is insane

Seriously though, everyone knows it's in early access. That's kind of the most important time to leave feedback critical of the game since it's the time when large sweeping changes are still possible. Should we just leave them in radio silence with no feedback other than people regurgitating their favorite streamer who was paid to play and pump the game?

There are tons of people who seem to think Early Access = completely finished game.

And most of the threads on here are the furthest thing from feedback. It is whining, bitching and complaining. Not feedback.

Sure. Give me back my money and I'll do just that.

Until then....

* We paid money for this game. We have a right to express our opinion.

* the entire point of early access is TO GET FEEDBACK. The fact it's negative feedback is NOT our fault. It is simply our experiences, and it is valid.

* The impression given was that endgame was finished. The ea part of the game was missing classes, skills, and main campaign acts. No one is upset about that stuff. No one is screaming because they can't play Act 5. The stuff people are having issues with cannot be adequately dismissed with 'it's ea'

* They are recycling old problems from PoE 1, and they have had 4 years to work on this thing. That is frustrating and confusing

* None of the issues are with the developers themselves. They are big picture design choices made at the top-level that are confusing and frustrating. The game itself looks beautiful, the bosses are interesting, the movement is fluid, and there are a lot of good ideas and amazing work on display

* If we just didn't care, we wouldn't say anything. We would just stop playing. So it's up to GGG how they listen.

They can listen like you and just dismiss us as complainers and ignore us, in which case we definitely will leave their game. Or they can see past the frustration and recognize the valid complaints and make some changes to make it accessible. Which should be doable, because they already have separate leagues for different types of players, it's just a question of how meaningful those leagues are.

Most of the issues here have nothing to do with the parts of the game that are unfinished. I don't see many posts complaining that they can't play Act 5.

The impression given was that GGG delayed the game so they could finish endgame at the expense of the main campaign and more classes. Again, not many people have a problem with that. We are excited to play more classes, but no one is going on message boards demanding they get x class. Most of us are just trying to finish the parts of the game GGG suggested were finished.

The stuff people are upset about is big picture stuff that GGG has had at least 4 years to think about while they were developing this game. It can't just be dismissed as being part of 'ea'

yes, people can get overly heated, but underneath every one of those that I have read are valid concerns addressing real problems.

And it was GGG's decision to release a game they knew people were hyped for, and then disappear for a month. It's not on the programmers themselves, it's on management. They could have given the team 2 months off for all we care, which they deserve, and then released the game in January and hit the ground running.

It was baffling short-sighted to do it this way, and I hope the leadership acknowledge that.
OK we understood, it's early access.

So i am sure they will work on that since weeks, oh wait.
They did not do that, because they are in vacactions for at least 3 weeks....

Shit, i should have known this before.... Oh wait, i could not known this before, because i do not have a clue how they are planning their vacations..
