Feedback on the Item Trading System and Price Manipulation Issue
" Exactly this. Like the current currency exchange. List an item for a price and come back later to collect the currencies of sold items directly from the stash tab. This way the premium stash tabs won't lose their value. And on top create a good crafting system such that trading isn't needed and currency actually gets used to prevent inflation. This way trading would basically be for unique items which would make looking for items also a far better experience. |

Indeed. Just implement the current trade website directly ingame, and instead of direct whispers, actually sell the item automatically.
That way low offers instantly get sold and removed from the AH, what remains are fair prices, and a lot less hassle when buying and selling items. |

I personally spent more than 60 euros just for purchasing multiple premium stash tabs, and I know many of you have done the same. This isn't a free service—players are paying significant amounts of money to be able to list their items, and the developers are earning millions from these transactions. Given this, it's only fair to expect a properly managed trading system. At the very least, we deserve a functional auction house to ensure transparency, fairness, and a better overall experience for paying customers.

" Also stops the complaints about sellers going all "I'm not leaving maps for anything less than 4ex." While you know, listing their prices as 1ex. Totally not scamming behavior and totally normal though. |

it kinda funny watching all the new players complain about trade saying the exact same things the majority of the POE1 community has also complained about for over a decade now. . .
it took over 10 years to get the currency exchange, and there was much rejoicing. but take heart, the developers did say in interviews ( a while ago now) that a item exchange was being prototyped for poe2 after Last Epoch's trade system was well received Last edited by thawn4444#3507 on Jan 4, 2025, 6:03:14 PM

" They could do a marketplace like Guild Wars 2 and it'd also work just fine. |
