500 gem limit on MTX stash tab

imo 500 is more than enough since you dont need specific skil/support/spirit gems anymore only their lvl matters

the ui needs some work though,uncut gems of same lvl and type should stack to clear up ui
It needs a bigger limit if nothing else is changed. The UI needs reworking as well.

If it was like the currency tab where you have slots for everything uncut up to like 50 of each than maybe 500 limit for actual skills, then I could see it being useful. As it stands I'd rather buy a few stash tabs and manual sort gems and skills.

gem tab is right now is a mess. It's clunky and not worth buying at the moment.

78 gems you need to fill all the sockets on a character.
What do you need other 500 you kept in gem tab? Maybe stop picking useless staff up? And stop putting them into tabs?

For sure, you want some extra gems for swaps, to try other staff. But even 100 is through the roof.


How is the game improved by limiting the number of gems? Hint: it isn't.

If I want to collect one of every possible skill and support gem, why shouldn't I be able to? Think of it as an extension of the holy grail for collecting all uniques. Also, that let's you level up whatever alts you want smoothly.
Funny thing - the MTX tab can't even hold 1 copy of every gem in the game at release (12 classes). That's completely ignoring Uncuts or having multiple levels of gems.

That alone tells me they will handle this sooner than later.
