PoE 1 Xbox servers are restarting in: .
They should be back up in approximately .PoE 1 Sony servers are restarting in: .
They should be back up in approximately .500 gem limit on MTX stash tab
I reached this pretty easily with 1 character. It definitely helped me level my alt but literally no more room for stuff on this. 500 isn't a lot.

" Question is not if it's easy to fill this. Question is if you will ever need half of it? Especially when more and more will drop. Or is it just hoard of gems that serve no purpose? |

" Gem tab needs to be made like the currency/essence tabs, where there is Gem slot for each specific gem/level, all slots of which stack to 5000. But yes, POE1's gem system is better. Want to look at/grab a skill or support, open the vendor window, click the colored skill or support tab, mouse over the gem, done, unless you don't recognize the icon. Then it's just a matter of typing in the search box prior to hovering. But basically, it's click, click, hover, done. POE2 on the other hand, open the stash, click the Gem tab, search find appropriate gem type, right-click the gem type, click the all gems button, scroll forever or type in the search box, mouse over the gem, press Alt so you can mouse the underlined words to get the real skill info or switch tabs to get the real skill info... seriously?... The UI for the Uncut system is not good. Additionally, with your very first character (every league), there is the problem that skills don't level up with you, that you have to get to the zones that can drop the higher level Uncuts to upgrade, and that the Uncuts are drops where bad RNG doesn't drop any higher level Uncuts. This kind of sucks. |

your character is limited to 9 skill slots. +2 for weapon/shield slots, +2 for weapon swap. x6 for links. (9+2+2)*6 = 78.
78 gems you need to fill all the sockets on a character. What do you need other 500 you kept in gem tab? Maybe stop picking useless staff up? And stop putting them into tabs? For sure, you want some extra gems for swaps, to try other staff. But even 100 is through the roof. |

" +1 to gem stacking. However, to circumvent the overabundance of uncut skill gems: Wouldn't it be cool if we could breakdown uncut skill gems for, idk... say something like a Gemcutter's Shard, which could then be upgraded to a Gemcutter's Prism (unless this is already a mechanic and I somehow missed this)? Gemcutter's Prisms are rare, for me at least. Last edited by Spyplane#1080 on Jan 4, 2025, 11:29:20 AM

" okay? 78 x how many characters you have? + having extra for whatever reason they want? Buying a gem stash and seeing it has a low cap, isn't unreasonable to ask for a bigger cap or stacking gems lol? EDIT: not to mention the number of trades I get from cutting my gems and putting them up for sale. Lol so many obvious reasons in a game like this Last edited by PhillipBurns#5461 on Jan 4, 2025, 1:42:34 PM

Higher level gems being able to use as lower level skills (like with supports) would make it easier for the limit. As your higher level character farms gems and new characters can use them at all points in leveling.
