Disappointment with POE2 and Quitting

You don't have to announce your exit.

I disagree.

He clearly does not understand a lot of the game, so the elitists could use their "git gut or GTFO", however his feedback and his quitting should send at least some signal to GGG that they might work on the introductory system or explanation of how stuff works. I am pretty sure he is not the only one, there will be lots of newcomers like him, he is just one of those who had the balls to give some feedback.

You can not keep a game alive only with few elite players, you need the new players aswell.

Good feedback.

Don't let the elitists and git gud players deflate your experience with the game and now its community even more.

If GGG wants entirely new players to the franchise to stick with the game for a long time, then they NEED to listen to entirely new people like you. You and other new people are what will keep this game going for 10+ years like PoE1. Then you become the "community" for when a PoE3 comes out.
It's early access (let's face it, we're playing a beta), so we don't even have half the skills and only 1/3 of the ascendancies. It's possible some support or spirit gems aren't even in, which limit build diversity by a lot.

I'm not saying it's OP's case, but many players assume that this build is "final" and that they're playing the full game. Sadly, there’s been a lot of hype from stupid streamers saying that this was the "Diablo 4 killer" and many newcomers are disappointed by the lack of classes/skills they were "promised" by said streamers who hyped PoE original build diversity. Hey, many players are saying that they feel like they're playing an incomplete game and want a refund...

So yeah, right now, build diversity is bad and I agree, late Act 2 and Act 3 feels like a slog with bigger maps and a lot of backtracking. Repeating the acts is a placeholder pending Act 4 to 6.

Anyway, I think your feedback is important and I suggest you take some time off from PoE2 and come back once the game fully releases, or at least, approaches release. It should be better by then, with at least more build diversity by the missing 6 classes skills alone (well, I hope). There’s no point in playing a game you don't have fun playing.

Also, you're free to leave the game and never try the game again, but you might be missing on something good one or two years from now. Remember, despite the Early Access moniker which could give the impression that the game will be released very soon, this is a closed beta we're all paying to play and it could stay that way for at least a year.

i fell you! +1
They want an endgame with dark souls characteristics, and they allow one death, and tis in an arg! I would like to know what they spoke in GGG!
I play frost sorc, close to lvl92 now and its absolutely fine, I love it. It completly melts screens even with frostbolts alone.

Frostwall is actually pretty OP, it attracts mobs and does alot of dmg., usually I combine it with frostbomb. But if you put it on a bigger mob it instantly explodes, especially good on rares/bosses.

Iam pretty sure you play frost sorc wrong, it completly melts.
+1

Thanks OP for sharing you feedback. You're not alone.
The problem right now is if you don't play Archmage then your Sorc and you won't have a fun time.
Trying to make any skill but spark work is just annoying. Trying to make my eye of winter work even max linked is nowhere near the power of spark since it just coats the whole room, costs nothing, and has a fast cast time, works better with firewall as well.
My friend,

first: dont quit, just make a pause.
second: thanks for your feedback, I agree.

Come back in 30 days and try the new balancing patches + bugfixes.
