D4 Legendaries vs POE2 Uniques

A unique drops and i excitedly think it’s going to be awesome……Widowhail crude bow “209% increased bonuses from equipped quiver”

I’m not a big fan of this style of unique, it reminds me of D4 legendaries where you are now trying to theory craft on how you can now implement this into your build.

On top of that when I equipped it I had a MASSIVE dps drop.

IMHO I really dislike this style of loot. I prefer more of a straightforward “Every third shot you spawn a tornado” along with some awesome stats on the item.

Anyway just my opinion.

Yeah uniques in this game need a massive overhaul. There's just no creativity in them.

According to my unique tab I have 38% of all unique gloves in the game, and looking over them I come to the conclusion that every single one of them is useless. Same goes for the other unique tabs in which I have 10-30% of all uniques in the game for those respective slots. 40-50 uniques? And every one is awful.

There are very powerful and very sought after uniques in the game, but you could grind until you die and never see them. It's silly.
Worst uniques in a video game since poe1.
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.

Well I hope for future ones they stay away from the D4 style. I hated having to look up a guide on how to build around a legendary item. It shouldn’t be that confusing, just a straightforward badass weapon that shoots flames from my eyes and bolts of lighting through my arse.
A high-rolled Widowhail is BiS for bow builds lol

If you don't understand how good that bonus could be, that's your failure. The top roll (corrupted) goes for 60 divine.

Also, why can't people understand that this is version 0.1, and there will be so much more uniques...

The beauty of PoE uniques is that they will completely transform your build IF you understand how they work. If they are as straightforward and precise as you suggest it will limit builds.

Some players find the windhail extremely exciting, I don't blame them, knowing path of exile that something like that unlocks a huge amount of potential especially early on.

I found an early Earthbound Voltaic on my sorc , I was literally shooting sparking lightning projectiles as I casted lightning spells. They have some cool stuff already in the game and they are adding more.

I think they have and should continue to have a mix of both!
