Same situation here. I'm playing an Infernalist Witch and the game becomes impossible due to the fps drops. Really considering not playing anymore until this is finally fixed.

No, but I can tell you right now that PoE is not a game where cache is king. It seems to heavily favor CPU cores and clock speed (depending on build). The more complexity your build adds, the more this becomes a factor. I didn't get a notable performance uplift over the i5-12400 I tested with, 1% Lows excluded (those are indeed better with the 7600X3D, though only barely for certain builds).

PoE 1 (and 2) seem to run better with CPUs that are designed with application performance in mind, i.e. productivity CPUs such as the 12900K-14900K. The 9800X3D is a massive step forward in that regard, though I'm not sure you would gain a lot from switching to the X3D.

However, AMD recently announced their new Productivity/Gaming CPUs, the 9900X3D and 9950X3D.

Problem is, nobody is benchmarking PoE (and why should they) because it's not suited for benchmarking due to the extreme randomness of everything, from varying performance based on build/hardware to randomly generated content.

IMO, GGG should actually try and release a benchmark suite with a couple builds with different (crucial) parameters and make it available to the public so that people can benchmark with it. It's definitely an untapped market. However, the reality is that this won't happen because the game gets patched a lot and thus changes a lot, and it's kinda hard to pick a build as some are bound to just mess with performance regardless. But it would also help them patch outliers in the future. Not gonna happen, but one can express wishful thinking regardless.

Same problem, pc is good , all updated, lags and pictures stuck is everywhere.

im planing to buy 9950x3d but still it's a joke that i cant play on i9 10900k with 4090 :P.... while D4 works just perfect 240fps 4k :P.
