Affix Tiers Dont Need to be Reversed, they Need to be REMOVED Entirely

The affix tiers don't need to be reversed. They need to be removed entirely.

Stop hiding information. Don't show me a tier number and make me estimate how good an affix is. Just show me the full range, not just the range for a specific tiers.

Instead of elemental resists being like this:

T1 - 6-10
T2 - 11-15
T3 - 16-20
T4 - 21-25
T5 - 26-30
T6 - 31-35
T7 - 36-40
T8 - 41-45

Just show 6-45.

Even if the tiers are reversed, as some folks have suggested, it doesn't tell me what the highest possible value of a stat is.

Say I have a T7 elemental resists (or T2 if reversed), that doesn't tell me that a T8 (or T1 if reversed) can go up to 45%.

If an item can't go to 45% because its low level, that's fine. Stil show me the 45%, that way I know there is room for improvement.

Again, just drop the tiers.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Since they removed Alteration and Scour Orbs, this Tier BS should be restricted by item level all the way up.

As a level 10 item can't roll mid or high level Tiers, a level 70+ item should never be rolling low level Tiers.

The system makes sense on PoE1, in PoE2 it is just bloated RNG BS.
Seriously wish they just took Last Epoch crafting and put it into this game. Would solve a lot of issues as far as gearing progression goes.

Yes, we should just copy Last Epoch because that game is doing so well... oh, wait.
Yeah, level 70 items rolling "+2 to int" make me question GGG as game designers.

LE solved this issue.
D4 solved this issue.
Solutions are different but they both work.

LE has some brilliant solutions to various problems that ARPG genre has.

But it doesn't have a good endgame loop and last cycle reset was like half a year ago.

You don't need to copy a game but you can learn from it about what works and what doesn't. I think that LE crafting (compared to current yolo orb slam at least) and SSF/Trade solutions are universally regarded as great.

You can say many things about D4, but not that crafting system as whole is a good thing there. Please, do not copy anything from that game.

The problem with their system is it makes things too easy and too deterministic. Players always think that's what they want, but it also means very low play time and poor player retention.

Their current endgame loop isn't terrible, the problem is that it's too easy to min/max your gear so there's little incentive to keep going in the endgame.
No tiers sounds good.
I would keep that normal examine of the item shows current range.
But in the place where currently is "tier", you could click, to see all ranges.

So for example you get:
4-10

You press the icon on the right and see all ranges (with yours hihglighted)
2-8
3-12
5-18
8-25
12-35

And the "tiered" items would have to be renamed.
Their mechanic specified that they can't have the lowest range, then second lowest etc. And this should be explained upon getting or inspecting that item.
