One-shot on Act 2 Colossus in 2000 es+hp and 75% all res. it's a terrible experience.
One-shot on Act 2 with 1300 energy shield, 700 HP, 75 all resistances from the Colossus boss. So much preparation, and all for what? Why did you do that? People die from him on hardcore all the time. Just look, this is complete nonsense. You ruined the impression of playing this boss. Great job guys. No one-shots should exist in the acts. Especially since I didn't come there with 300 HP, I was fully prepared.

It was his attack where he pushes the knife out and away from him right?
Yeah, that got me a few times on multiple characters. I think the way it works is it creates a bunch of shrapnel, but also repositions you so that you overlap with a ton of them. I agree it hits way too hard compared to the rest of his fight, considering how there's not a distinct sound or visual cue to tell you it's coming. |

One-shot the boss with a dagger. That's 2000 hp+es... That's 75% of all resistances. And especially in Act 2. People are just getting to know the game. What kind of one-shots can we even talk about in Act 2? I basically bought and crafted all the best from the auction. Survivability throughout the act is just great, but it's the Colossus that makes the one-shot... So many streamers died from this dagger strike. This is unacceptable in either standard mode, and even more so in hardcore. These one-shots on heroes with top gear simply push you away from the game. What's the point of starting the game a second time if you did everything possible the previous time and the boss killed you with 1 hit. The game is good, but the one-shot mechanic in Act 2 is just a spoke in the wheels of the entire game.

You did everything possible except dodge the attack.

I'm trying to draw the developers' attention to this because I care. One-shots shouldn't exist in acts. In the endgame, maybe (where everyone decides what level of risk to take for the sake of their loot). But one-shots shouldn't exist when getting to know the game in acts... You and no one else can avoid all attacks in the game. That's what defensive mechanics are for. Energy, shield, armor, dodge, health, block.

I hear what you’re saying but I think you’re missing a fun opportunity by continuing to engage with him and learn his mechanics OR go farm the surrounding areas and level up 4 or 5 more times I promise you it will feel like a different battle.

I agree with you, but I play on hardcore. I think this mode is very interesting. And you know for sure that there is only 1 chance. And I came to the boss fully prepared (as I wrote above) and this is in the 2nd act, where players are just introduced to new items, mechanics, spells. But I collected almost everything to the maximum for my hero, I was several levels higher than the location (3-4 levels higher). I will simply describe this so that you understand that these are not empty words. But I really want to draw the attention of the development team to one-shots, which are unacceptable in the introductory acts of the game.

Ok, now I understand where you’re coming from.

I even think it looks like a bug, because I just watched a video where he hit a player with 450hp with this dagger and the player only lost 20-25% of his hp
