Trial of Sekhema: Honor Shrine instantly killed me

I was finally a few rooms from completing the third trial, to get my fourth and fifth ascendency points. I had about 1800+ honor when I entered the safe room. I clicked on the shrine to retstore 1000+ honor, and I instantly died and failed the run. The random affliction I received there was that I had no energy shield, but I still have 890 health.

I looked at my other afflictions and no where does it state that restoring honor would kill me or end my run. No where does it state that I if I receive too many afflictions I die.

Is this a bug?! Im so pissed off right now. Fix your damn game GGG. Just wasted almost an hour of my time and killed any desire I had to progress in ascendency. What a trash decision it was to choose this over even Lab.

So what you're essentially saying is that the Sehkhema Trial made you melee for a couple of a seconds.... and you found out real fast.

Maybe it was an "X amount of phys taken after completing a room" affliction?

No, you didnt read.

I was finished with a room, maybe 3 away from getting my 4th/5th points. I was in the safe room with the map etc. I clicked on the honor shrine to restore honor and it instead killed me. No affliction I had (and I took a SS) noted that honor restoration would kill.
seems like when you get the energy shield debuff from random affliction it damages your honor when it removes the energy shield, so its screws you if you have a high amount of energy shield, literally had this happen to me aswell on the 3rd trial for my 3rd ascendency :(

Same here. The trial is way too long to then go to waste with this kind of stuff randomly.
Don't ever accept random afflictions.

This.

As a long-time Sanctum runner, it's important to determine what are considered run-ending afflictions and what aren't. Anything that causes random afflictions is one such run-ender as you'll never know what the game will randomly throw at you that could hard counter your build. Additionally, try and avoid purple smoke if at all possible. Not being able to see what affliction you'll get on entering a room is just as dangerous.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

Why have random afflictions in the first place, then? Just to put a big red X over a couple rooms in the Trial chart? Maybe they should look this over, alongside the bizarre range of intensity encompassed by "Minor" Afflictions.

Thirding never to accept random afflictions. "Restore Honor + Random Affliction" is never worth it - in fact, getting optional afflictions in general isn't worth it because it makes the pool shallower and more inclined to forcing you to the really bad afflictions: Getting an additional affliction when you get an affliction, and getting a random affliction when you venerate a maraketh shrine.

Notice the one bad thing in common amongst them is they're all random.
