Compromised PoE Accounts: Stolen Items and Hacked Accounts - Discussion and Leads

Got wiped too, few hours after i post my build on poe.ninja. This is probably why imo...

i guess something is going on again :/ ... i'll try and update the post this week or soon with the new info gathered, see if we can raise some awareness too so GGG can start working on the issue or finally get this fixed

Another victim here. Was targeted and specifically lost an item I had listed on trade for 90div, as well as about 200div in raw currency.

It is very important to note: I use no third party tools. My Password was an extremely unique high-digit hexidecimal password that was unique to POE, and would be effectively impossible for them to access. There was no attempted verification code sent in. This PC was built brand new, for the POE season launch and has not been used since. Literally -completely- brand new, no chance of malware or keylogging.

So I want to be as clear as I possibly can. There is genuinely and legitimately -no chance- whatsoever they accessed my information through some form of user error. I attempted to share details with support, but they obviously refused to speculate any further on the issue.

Someone, once again, has some means to access people's accounts, and they are targeting people who have high value trade listings, or who have just conducted high value trades. This seems to be the most common denominator from the dozens of people I've seen affected thus far. Almost universally they had listed, or traded for an item in the 80+ div range about 8 hours before the looting takes place.

Got me as well. No authentication email for the hacker but I get one every time I log in from a different room in my house lol.

Had you performed any trade(s) during this league? Any trade where the partner backed-out or was deceptive with currency (ie, offering Exalts instead of Chaos etc).

Also got hacked today.
They took my divines and my Headhunter and put on some random gear.

Found an almost perfectly rolled attribute headhunter (54/55 Str/Dex) from a merc 1 week after league start. Listed it for 80+D on trade, went to sleep. 8 hours ater account got wiped. Most of the valuable items including currencies and equipment listed over 5D were gone, and the headhunter as well.

I've played on standalone client before 2015 for quite awhile, and switched to Steam at around 2020. Never had a password change for my GGG account.

Considering that there were multiple allegations that several posts of hack reports were removed from here last time, could anyone who has such a tool please archive and post links to the archive here (as well as tool information)?

Edit: Someone in the know has pointed out to me that if your account allows login via standalone, it would bypass 2fa, so that is an important detail that should be collected.

It would seem like in that eventuality, though, one would get a region account lock email (but I might be completely incorrect in my speculation, I have no information).
