If they added an auction house these same people would be complaining about how the bots are even more powerful with automated trading.

Has nothing to do with what I said, no one here is complaining about automated trading being powerful, it feels like you're starting your own gossip elsewhere on this thread. The thing most susceptible to cheating in automation was currency, and here we are. What are they going to do to gear? There were already auto trading bots in PoE1, and you can definitely do more with auction house to prevent that, but my suggestion of player shops doesn't even have that issue, because imagine having to create a path to the shop NPC in each hideout with a bot. At least put effort into thinking things through.

I don't think player shops or an auction house, or integrated in-game trading systems is going to help this game.

PoE 1 is largely balanced around the economy. With changes to the game being influenced by how fast people can clear stuff, down to how much items are dropping. The expectation that people are to craft and trade to progress.

It really limits the game in many ways, and most players who don't enjoy crafting/trading which is the majority, will have their experience in the game negatively impacted in many ways because of it.

Trading/crafting makes this game worse imo, and it feels like an archaic way to keep people invested in the game. There's tons of people at the top who only play this game because of Trading/crafting, and it brings in a lot of money to GGG.

I'd like that too, it's basically what I first suggested a long time ago but it was never done. Throwing this idea because it felt like a step in.
