Armor - The worst stat ingame

1. Make armor apply to all damage (like ES and evasion do)
2. Get rid of the reduced effectiveness vs. bigger hits
3. Rebalance the values so it soft caps at closer to 20-30% reduction or so
4. Remove armor break from enemies.
Oh, now I remember why I quit path of exile 5 years ago. Learning that the sequel has the same poorly designed mechanics is infurating. I was so sick of every build I made relying on energy shield + evasion or energy shield + armour. It was always about energy shield. 😣

Armour break on monsters is bad I agree. Instead of changing the armour formula I think it would be better to have more access as a Warrior to things like fortify (from poe1. 1% less damage taken per fortification, up to 20%), physical damage taken as elemental damage, flat PDR, armour applies to elemental damage. As a HC warrior (titan) with block and capped resists getting swarmed in breach and no chance to attack considering the baked in time to attack, it feels necessary to give us more defensive layers. I'm no pro but I'm not that terrible and almost instantly ripping after opening a breach feels really bad, considering the massive time investment and seeing how tanky ES characters can get.

1)Fortify please
2)Sources of phys taken as elemental damage
3)Sources of PDR
4)Sources of armour applying to elemental damage

hehehehe.....so in other words, make it a mandatory stat on every single build and give it zero downsides and buff it through the moon? No thanks.

30% mitigation against EVERYTHING? so.....the equivalent of 10 oldschool juggernaut-buffed endurance charges?

"Make armor apply to all damage like ES and evasion".....except evasion does not apply to ANY damage, it applies to hits; and as we already discussed ES does not apply to all damage. The "equivalent" defense layer to compare to ES is life, not armour.
