It's Time For Magic Finding to Go
Even funnier, so after I experienced a significant loot/waystone/currency drop increase with the golden charm, I then got a ring with 38%IIR. So now with amulet and ring totalling 66MF and the charm, I'm sometimes getting poe1 style loot showers from rare mobs. Since I got the golden charm it felt like I was playing a different game. This doesn't seem balanced at all. MF from gear seems so much better compared to atlas tree and map mods. So good rng begets more good rng and vice versa and you have a loop that's not healthy for the game.

Fully Agree.

Currency drops should be based around Tower influence and map mods not MF stacking making the only way to farm more currency is to increase your clear speed. Breach farming is busted when there are players running 10 breaches in a map and getting 15 divines in 10 minutes. The economy is so broken the only option for casual players is to just play SSF since anything worth less than a divine is simply not worth posting on the trade site and is not worth their time to go to town and do a trade. Very bad state of the game where casual/intermediate players get shafted while expert players take full advantage of broken interactions.

MF is absolutely ruining the game economy, trade, and the general feel of the game.
Drop the mod entirely ASAP, and increase all drops by 50% to offset this. Make SSF have 100% increased drop rates, but hard lock those characters from going into any sort of trading or standard league. |

Unpopular opinion: Even if MF is fixed the economy will stay distorted until a "new season of EA" is introduced with new character, better balance, and everyone starting from scratch.
Also don't expect MF to fix wealth inequality. The people that are REALLY GOOD at the game deserved to be rewarded for being really good and they will be. They will optimize the game like nobodies business. I think what players like me need to hope for is that the economy will be layered in such a way that everyone can contribute: 1. Maybe a group of people could specialize in crafting and providing new & better goods for the players 2. Maybe the crafters need tons of essences, great essences, omens, etc. and an economy will sprint up to fill that need. 3. Maybe farmers of certain content will need some type of consumable to efficiently farm the content [Trial keys?] .. maybe farming keys would be a way to participate. What I'd like to see is that there is not necessarily any one best way to play the game AND I'd like to see ways players of various levels can participate in a meaningful manner and participate in the economy. Will everyone have "the top chase unique" in the league ... no but hopefully everyone can see progress proportional to their time investment in the game and be able to experience most if not all of the content [at least at low levels] |

" Do you honestly not understand the concept of inflation? In real life, a small percentage of people generate far more wealth than the average person, but that wealth is usually held in the form of stock options and various investments on paper -- it's illiquid. The CEO of an electric car company, who holds most of his wealth in the stock of that company, can't simply dump that stock for raw currency whenever he wants, due to SEC regulations and other factors. Even if he could, professional traders with front-running software would see him selling off blocks of the stock, and they'd jump in, tanking the stock as the CEO attempted to dump it all, resulting in far less value for him from the sale of said stock. Every major economy also has something analogous to a federal reserve to tackle inflation, with various levers it's pulling to heat up or cool off the economy and regulate how much currency is in circulation. If a small section of people actually could simply generate enormous sums of liquid currency that was immediately dumped into the economy, we'd end up with a completely broken irl economy. |

Since I know this I have the incredible urge to use the highest rarity on every item and I don't like it. The difference of no rarity vs rarity is also very noticeable.

Yep remove from gear. Should be their easiest decision ever.

Mf needs to get removed entirely from gear, uniques included. I don't know why they insist on keeping it.
