"Rarity of items found" Ruin the game!

I also feel that rarity ruins the game how it currently works. It should not affect currency drops! It should only affect Gear drops (more uniques and more rares as it was in PoE 1).
Ruins the game if everyone is forced to run rarity.
Also now that everyone could already abuse it and other people are so far behind (My main account got locked so i missed out on cheap rarity gear) now i don't want to play trade anymore. So once i get my account back ssf it is.

this does create an interesting dynamic. i have found myself nerfing my character by putting on rarity gear and even the rarity charm.

maybe rarity should not exist. i'm not certain. on one hand it feels more fun to me to try and find more uniques but i shouldn't have to do that artificially. hm.

then maybe more uniques and more currency should drop as baseline without NEEDING rarity of items found on gear? again im not blaming the players who are stacking rarity they want loot.. im blaming GGG for adding in something that shouldnt exist in the game ..
Rarity didnt ruin the economy. People abusing decimals on the currency exchange to flip is what ruined the economy.
would you like 1.93 divine orbs for 91.08 exalted orbs?

the problem is even worse... even on SSF you are forced into items rarity.. . because you need to craft items your self.. for that you need even more currency .. . and you need uniques and tiered rares and bases.. for that you also need item rarity .. . the game currently force you to take rarity of items found on every single piece of gear .. both prefix and suffix when available.. its not enjoyable.. and idk where GGG are and why nothing is being done .. probably they wont even fix this untill 2-3 months when they make new expansion with fresh league

To be honest I'd like GGG to:

1. Clearly state, in NO uncertain terms, who the game is for and who it isn't. Also I want to understand their "vision" for the game.

2. Make changes in to everything [early campaign to end-game] to reinforce that vision

3. Get loot into a place where they think it should be [based on their vision, who the game is for, etc.]

**** 4. KEY STEP ... Do a reset or send existing characters off to "legacy" [kill entirely??] and then encourage everyone to create new players with a new economy separate from that in legacy.

all this is nice but they are not going to do it untill they make next expansion in 2-3 months . .. in the mean time they should communicate about these issues like item rarity and ES vs life.. and the bare minimum is "instant- 3 weeks delay" disabling item rarity from appllying to currency
I'll add to this that we've got ourselves a nice little catch 22.

If you want to actually have good looting gear, the only way you're going to get it, is if you buy it. You will never get one as a drop, and you will never craft one.
All gear that is actually any good as a piece of looting gear, costs multiple divines.
In order for you to actually get the currency to buy these items, you need to already have these items.
I agree with this. Magic find is a fun stat to see, but it’s game breaking since some characters are always going to be less gear dependent and more able to stack magic find. Then it viciously feels bad to play any other character that can’t magic find well and therefore it never feels good to use the gear you got from magic finding.
honestly idk why GGG havent even said a word about this issue .. what they think of it... are they aware of it? is it intended and thats how they want their game to be? do they plan to balance it? remove it ? nothing
Can testify myself. Before today was struggling to sustain maps, had to waste time and currency like many players. Got a golden charm today, never even knew this existed, gives you +20IIR against rare/unique enemies and IMMEDIATELY saw a huge increase in both waystone/gear/currency drops, then a few maps later got a ring and crafted into a +38IIR ring, then began to have loot showers from some rare mobs poe1 style. Got multiple gemcutters, artificers, alchemists in short play session and multiple exalted/regal/vaal guaranteed per map. It's like the IIR on your gear is weighted many, many times more than whatever it says on your atlas tree or map mods. This is not balanced at all and the majority of players are rng locked into much slower progression and worse mapping experience overall through absolutely no fault of their own.
