Drowning orbs

Don’t stand in them.

So easy to spot as well in POE2 versus a cluttered up t17 with deli but even then

The map modifier in t17s, it’s a free mod with how easy it is to not do that

Remember your basal PoE lessons

Don’t stand in bad

If I learned something from POE is that you can stand on whatever you want as long as you have the gear/build for it.

So that doesn't really apply here.

Then you didnt play POE1, at least at any high level

You dont stand still in POE1

Dude I can afk pretty much any boss in poe 1... and we're talking bout story mode white trash mobs here. Haven't found them on maps yet, but I'll just leave and start a new one if I see them.

Git gud.

My only complaint is, the game should limit how many can spawn in close proximity, because they can spam out the screen and there's no way to get to them unless you're ranged.

But then again, the game graciously gave me three rare of these in one spot in act 3 cruel and I lived so...

So your point is?
You are better than everyone else? Is that it?
Cool story brah. You should go to the Olympics. Maybe break dance.
Shmuk

My point is, if I could learn to handle them, then so can you. Surely, I haven't run into someone even worse than me at the game?

Handling them is not a problem. As I did in both acts in the Drowned Temple, if I saw a blue ball, just leap and charge some screens away till you don't see them anymore and keep playing while having fun. And as stated above, if I see them in maps I'll just start a new one.

I play games to have fun, not to 'handle' bad design.

Srsly guys. F...ing great game you have here, I'm having a blast.

but what in the holy f..k is this river rag? who thought this would be fun? did people play melee and thought "oh, that really cool! lets keep that in the game!"

please, give me a name I wanna send some roses.

now srsly... fix this [Removed by Support] mob, its fucking ridiculous.

If you say “[Removed by Support]” enough, you’ll probably get your way.

Honestly though, soon as you start using that word on feedback forums for a game that is a fun sandbox for lots of people with ASD, you probably aren’t going to get anywhere. Personally I think you should be suspended from forums for a bit.

That's fair and your choice - pick the game mechanics that you want to interact with. Personally, I rage skip Prowling Shades as I consider them a FAR FAR worse mob design (not difficult, just plain disrespectful).

Are you having fun when anything dies inevitably regardless of whether you input any skill or not? When nothing needs "handling" by your brain and fingers? When success is guaranteed?

Again, if so, that's fair. I'm not judging. But I will point out that PoE 2 is very likely not a game you will ever enjoy, then. (And it's fine too, btw, there are other games that I'm sure will fit your parameters of fun.)

They wouldn't be so annoying if they had another attack and a *significantly* longer cooldown between drowning orb casts. As it is now I don't even try to interact with them as melee. You bait the orb cast, jump in, and sure enough she is recasting on your head before you can even land a basic 3 hit combo chain.

Add a CD to the orbs and give them a second attack.
Bear in mind that both melee classes have proximity to "-Slowing Potency" notables. Monk's is slightly more out of the way, but they are more mobile than wars to begin with.
