While I do appreciate the replies, I would kindly ask to not derail the subject at hand.
I want the POE 1 guys to find happiness and joy again.
I forgot to mention there are also little goblins hidden around the map that if you kill them they will give you lots of little goodies.
This is the type of comment that led to poe1 never having a large population. You criticize my game :( boohoo now I tell you go play diablo because my game is perfect boo hoo.
The fact of the matter is poe2 could use improvements and if you can only say go play d4 then you will end up with a game very few people wanting to play again. Personally, I don't care if PoE2 stays cheeks because I can and will go play D4 again or any variety of other games on the market.
What I instead suggest is that you be open-minded to criticism and open to solutions to make PoE2 a better game for everyone.
No no no, maybe I wasn’t clear. POE 2 is a great game right now, and can use some improvements at the same time.
I’m simply just trying to help the POE 1 guys out who are not having fun and have lost their love and feeling.
Diablo IV is a game that may suit those guys well.
I am so sick of PoE Vets(assuming you are) telling people to quit and go play d4. I've never played a game with a community that tells new players to actively stop playing their game and go play the direct competition. It baffles me.

There’s always Diablo IV
Easy simple skill system
Big paragon board and glyph system to fart around with
Can travel quickly in game
A lot of exploding mobs on screen
Lots of loot explosions
Seasonal content
Maybe you would enjoy that better than POE2’s style?
10 Days since account creation.
This guy is a paid agent of Activision Blizzard.
he's been busy in almost every thread that has any amount of feedback constructive or otherwise white knighting POE 2 and telling anyone struggling to "git gud". My comment was more aimed towards him and his "git gud" buds who half the time don't understand why POE 1 players are annoyed about some of the core systems being implemented the way they were into POE 2.

“Game is trash” is not feedback, only emotional tantrum throwing.

You probably don't realize this because of your own limitations but POE 2 is a lot closer to Diablo 4 than POE 1 is. Every thing has been dumbed down for mouth breathers such as yourself lmao
i'll say with 10000% certainty poe community as total ass
ya'll keep thinking us new players dont know how to play video games mechanically.
playing the game from a mechanical point of view is fine.. all though stupid with the constant rolling
its the entire balance of resources main in the early game that is turning people off
skills are way to weak early,. gear is garbage early. doesnt offer any protection vs the overtuned aoe crap and dont even get me started on boss damage to player damage ratios
you cant even do multiplayer to get "help" because things just get harder.
the game is complete trash in its current state.
PoE players suffer from elitism. This game is more than a full-time job and when you devote as many hours as they have it becomes a part of your personality. This is their career so please respect it. They are unaware that new players are every bit of capable as them to play PoE and progress minus having 80+ hours a week to spend online. The elitism is this game's thing; without it, these players wouldn't feel nearly as good about themselves.
Think it is fair that to say that PoE players have a different mindset when it comes to difficulty.
It is literally why they got bored in D4. Including myself. The game practically plays itself. I would say that the feeling of elitisme is grounded in some truth at least.

With all the hate D4 had been getting before the launch of poe2 I thought people were ready for a game like this. But no, turns out a whole generation of people have been ruined by modern game design.
With all the changes everyone is demanding it sounds like D4 would be the better option for them. D4 has tons of loot drops, no xp penalty on death, the ability to zoom clear small maps, and your deaths don't brick anything.
Maybe the gaming community ruined the diablo franchise and not blizzard.

This man makes a good point.
It does seem to be the case that there is a migratory gamer population that moves from new game to new game demanding it be the way they want, regardless of the spirit of what that game was originally, causes devs to cave in, then moves on leaving a shell behind them when the next shiny comes out.

Blizzard died the day they fired the Diablo 2 team.

Why do you think I made this post? I’ve been a long time fan of Diablo since 1996. Fast forward to now and Diablo 4 is a thoughtless, uninspiring adventure.
There is no creativity in the game.
POE 2 gives me a lot more of Diablo 2 vibe in which I really love and don’t want this to change.

Only 1 of 2 things can happen:
1:It doesn't change, game dies. Game gets shut down anyway or turns into a p2w over-monetized mess with a shop similar to D4's in-game cash shop.
2:It changes because that's the only way for the game to make enough profits to continue running seasonal content every 3 months.
It's just a matter of time.
