The 4th Ascendancy

Just how powerful are you supposed to be to get that 4th Ascendancy?

I'm lv 82 with decent gear, max resists etc, and I kill most map bosses in a matter of seconds (unless they go into invulnerable phases). But I'm still not strong enough to get my 4th Ascendancy. 10 Ultimatum debuffs make it way too hard (although I might get lucky one day and avoid the worst ones). And the monsters on the 4th floor of Sanctum absolutely destroy me even when I don't have any afflictions that increase monster damage.

Is this stuff overtuned, or what?

Its tuned to having honour resistance, just like other resistances. Get honour resist to 75% and see how easy sanctum becomes.

IDK, I just slapped the trial master - Hate Sanctum since release, at least its not sucking you in like in sanctum league

If you wanna do sanctum, buy some honor resist relics until you can hit 75% from trade, they are cheap

Its just a lot harder, especially if you compare it to old trials. I think most are doing it around 80, but ascending in the game is designed to be more difficult. That being said I would say give it time. May need to revisit the ascendancy later in EA when they have balanced it more.

They haven't released a major content update yet either though and hopefully will adjust it more when they do, but I'm guessing Jan before that happens.

My Honor resistance is 78%.

The first 3 floors of the Sanctum are more or less trivial for me. But the 4th floor is just insane.

What level are you?

75% is the max but for what its worth you shouldnt be having an issue then. Where exactly are you dying? on the boss? eater of worlds phase?

If its dps you dont have the gear, if youre dying because of honour you need to just play slower/smarter.

You may just need a good run. +merchant options relic are really good too dont know the price on those but it helps a lot. Hare is one of the best buffs for the last boss.

to be honest - call me mad, but I prefer this over lab - especially the one where you had to find all 6 trials prior to doing your 4th. This comes online way faster and ultimatum is VERY doable

One of my relics gives +3% max res, so my Honor res is 78%.

I'm dying on the 4th floor in any rooms where I have to fight monsters (Hourglass, Chalice). The monsters do way more damage than on the first 3 floors.

Having screenwide clear in sanctum definitely is a huge benefit on floor 4. Also its a huge time sink

I would just buy trial master fragments if you dont have any and run ultimatum
