If POE1 would have the exact same number of dev and attention from GGG, why would we play POE2, be serious for 5 seconds.
We are playing POE2 because this is the only way to go forward and keep having new content.

They've already said they are going to continue developing POE 1. You are making a lot of assumptions.
How about you look in the mirror? So much effort put into not improving. All that effort could be better used either playing better, finding a new game, or hell go make your own.

Buy a better GPU and turn on all POE1 graphics MAX
Login on POE1
Go Ruthless.
Force yourself to only have 1 portal in map.
Randomly pick maps and do only maps mechanics every 3 maps.
Only allow yourself to use Transmute 1 and 1 orb of chance.
And don't forget to only take 5 to 10 blue currency per map.
Don't use any mobility skill.
No movement speed on your boots.
You will have your current POE2 setup.
Nope. Because POE` Ruthless will allow you to run past trash and not clear the whole map. Also if you die in ruthless it doesnt reset the whole map Dark Souls Style or Reset the boss completely if you die to innocence on phase 2 when he has 200 life left. POE 2 makes POE 1 ruthless look like easy mode. Don't believe me? Go try it. Its free. Log in, create a ruthless char. Play for 8 or 10 hours and come back and let me know.

They will develop POE 1 as long as they make money from the product. And right now they will make more money from POE 1 than POE 2. For absolute sure.

Ruthless of POE1 is way easier than whatever POE2 is.

Aren't you feeling weird that everything that Jonathan said isn't even 10% of what the game is right now ?
If you believe everything devs are saying, you are mistaken.
We already have the proof right now that there is words and actions.
And from whatever POE2 is showing, it doesn't have all the things that they said before the EA started.

Actually I think I will work on my cheiftain in ruthless today. I would like to make maps before Jan Reset. Never killed shaper on Ruthless. Only thing I am missing are some support gems but I can farm or trade for those.

LOL the only hiccup is I use controller and its going to scramble my brains because they decided to COMPLETELY change the controller layout from POE 1.

Oh and in ruthless if I die the act zone isnt completely reset and I dont lose access to that map or boss in endgame.
