I've clocked about 90 hours into the game now and 3 times my computer has shut down on its own and given me the "Windows occurred a problem and is now restarting" blue screen. Once during gameplay and two times after i've logged off.
The third time was the last straw for me, because it took way longer than expected to load the computer back on. I got a warning message from my computer that i should logout immediately from my computer or my harddrive and SSD would corrupt, which was weird. Logged out and logged back in so that fixed it. Everything works perfectly, nothing is corrupt and i can play any other game perfectly without an issue but i cannot load PoE2 for the fear i have that i might actually break my computer. I took off multithreading and changed to vulkan from DX12 and the game is unplayable due to the amount of lag and i have 2 FPS during gameplay. Hopefully they fix this. |

+1, same issue. Have tried all their suggestions, but it just keeps crashing my entire PC. New PC, 8GB video-card, 32 GB Ram, so PC should be beefy enough anyway.
While I do have 24H4, this should not be considered a valid reason, imho. Other games do not seem to have issues with this Windows version, so clearly there is something written in such a way in the POE code that causes this crash. Gaslighting/ignoring the players with these issues is not going to solve anything, and would be a real shame of what could've been a great game launch. For now my frustration has come to such a level that I'll stop playing until the situation changes and if nothing does they've simply lost a player for life, since that seems to be the only way these companies listen, if people stop spending their money. > PoE2 and suffer this crash risk the chance of bricking their hardrives, SSDs, RAM and other hardware.
That's nonsense. Do you have any evidence? |

" You can check what has been written on both main threads. At this point I'm too tired to explain basic electrical and computer engineering concepts once again. Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam. I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do: 1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad. 2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review. 3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there. |
