I'm done with Path of Exile 2. Game is just too hard/tedious

you dont find it fun and you give your feedback before leaving, thats actually a good thing so the devs can have data.

to me its about drive.

i sucked hard against the act 2 boss. i died like fuck TONS of times. i found his mechanics bullshit as it forced you to get more movespeed somewhat and you had to deal with huge ass area denials.

theres a lot required. a combination of both skill, build and gear.

i am guessing that for your case its a gear issue.

personally i overleveled my character a huge lot and came back with better gear. still died to him, but i got better and killed him off.

as for the bog witch. i m sorry to hear about your experience. it is very ironic to hear that you've played actual souls like but still suck at path2. the bog witch is annoying and VERY damaging but its real easy once you learn her attack patterns. the red circles are indeed difficult. all you need to do is stop attacking, and keep moving.

i cleared her as a 2 handed melee ranger. it is doable and i would say even more 'fair' than act2 boss.

when you say path2 is NOT a soulslike. i would point out, path2 is path2. you're making the same mistake many people made coming into this game, having a preconception that path2 is going to be like poe1. it simply is not.

If you can’t get past the act 2 boss your build is probably bad.

That’s fine, it happens, you just need to learn how to build.

Follow a build guide, nothing wrong with that, especially when learning a new game.

After you follow one guide things will start to click and you can try making your own builds again, you’ll have learned a ton and probably be much better at it.

Plus I'm fighting this because I don't want the game to be dumbed down or be made less challenging. I don't want this game to be turned into d4 mindless game to appease these people. I want the game left challenging.

the game is not so hard you can't beat it. they give you tons and tons of items for you to respec and roll new armor and accessories until you get what you need to solve any boss or situation.

Everyone told me How hard the count was but i just dodge rolled whenever he finished talking and downed him on the first try.

I died on the first boss of act 2 but bought orb of storms and dodged closer instead of far away and beat him easily.

It really is a skill issue.

It's not a skill issue gear is probably just bad, and since I really don't want buy my gear with currencies, it makes the game much harder. And, yes, I am following a build guide. Don't be a jerk.

This game isn't any harder than the original super Mario brothers.
Stop sniffing Galaxy Gas and use your items to spec properly and you can EASILY beat act2.

Game too easy,
Game for little kids,
When private leagues,
made maps first week. ssfhc without dying.

Because not everyone is as lucky as you. My sorc is level 58 and yesterday, the first useful piece of equipment for my build since level 29 dropped and for the first time ever, slamming an Ex on it resulted in a really useful additional mod.

All the other ones I equipped since then either came from my guildmates, from an in-game vendor or via trade. 6 out of 10 of the equipment pieces I use are still < level 30 (one is level 20). Not counting flasks, that is.

Granted, I did find quite a number of potentially useful items in that time, but none that were suitable for my build.
