6 linking"perfect jewellers orb" droprate is unhealthy for the game.

first let me remind you that poe2 is literally about how to synergy different skills together and combo them. meaning you would expect to 6 link everything eventually.
as of right now, perfect jewellers orb is 170ish exalt and the 5 link one is almost 40 ex. that's 200-220 ex to 6 link a single skill gem that you might want to "try to minmax and change later" and it makes it much more efficent to save up and buy mirror items than ever consider linking supplementary skills "like if you want to 6 link all the 8-10ish skills you use on the side, that's gonna cost you 2k + exalts ? the fact that 6 linking 2 skill gems is MUCH MORE expensive than my initial char which i cleared t17s with eaisly is mind boggling to me, i thought that 6 linking being as expensive as 60-80 ex was the right spot for it but at this rate it will probably reach 250 ex in no time. i literally tried 3-4 single target main skills so far, and i had 6 link on the first one i tried "sunder" which i lost to corruption. ever since then i stopped 6 linking because i would rather try new skills / try new chars than 6 linking a single gem. i don't get if this is intentional or not, but i do know that 6 linking should not be the ultimate final boss of minmaxing, it should not even feel like it is minmaxing. minmaxing in this context is to get 6 link level 20 gem 20% quality then corrupt it and pray. I vaguely remember an preview of poe2 years ago that was talking about how 6-link would much easier to get. Guess they don't really want to change or make poe2 significantly different than poe1.

I personally think it’s fair for 6-link to be a bit rare like it is now, but I think perhaps they could up the 5link jewellers just a TINY bit. I have only seen one drop out of the entire time I played and I’ve been playing everyday 10+ hours since launch.

In all honesty, currently I am sitting at lvl 93 and I did find 4 perfect jewellers so far. That is roughly the same amount of 6links I did find when compared to PoE1 natural 6link armor drops (uncorrupted) prior to archnemesis

OK but is anyone unable to play without a 6 link? Im pushing T15 maps and only have two 5 links. Im fine without a 6. When I get a 6 that will be great but... specifically which class/skill requires 5 support gems?

" I would say the main complaint that I agree with is that 6 linking was said to be easier and currently it looks like it isn't with the rarity of jewellers, I don't think a slight bump in drop rate for these is much to ask. Same with skill gems at lower levels are pretty dam rare but not at all in later levels |

I upgraded to a 6L faster than most chars in PoE1. It's supposed to be hard.

91lvl, never seen perfect one. Never seen 20lvl gem also. Yet, my friend who progress parallel to me at same 15-16 maps got 2 both of them. Just rng.
