We Want / Need 6 Portals !!

current system is too punitive. Death = Loss of exp why add even more punishment ontop of that. Now when you die you lose anything on the ground, experience, and the entire map itself. A recurring theme in PoE2 is over punishment. Lose your ascendency trial, welp go farm for another week in the most boring low level content to get another to drop of the appropriate level of the trial your trying to pass. Its stupid, I don't know what the devs was thinking on all the stacking punishments.

I think you should play path of exile 1 where 6 portals is still a thing. This is a different game with a different direction that has been laid out in interviews for the last year. Diablo is also an option, maybe even last epoch!

We was told it was going to be path of exile 1 i specifically recall the saying was

"Two campaigns one game"

Only recently did they decide to depart these games from each other. Additionally the difficult during those time period was stated to be specifically to be tuned for those whom attend Exilecon a more hardcore dedicated group of people but they iterated that this was intentionally overtuned and the actual release wouldn't be as harsh. So.....I don't know where your getting your information.

I want the game to get more balance updates over the course of early access. I don't want 6 portals. 1 or 2 at most.

I have no doubt that this 1 Life BULLSHIT will kill the Endgame for most People. Me included.
No, it's not poe1. I don't want poe2 to be an easy game, Monsters and damage rebalance is enought.

In what World was PoE1 easy because of 6 Portals? Certainly not in mine.

I want not to die to bosses.

How do I do that since I cant get to learn the bosses. They are gone on the first death.

I want more attempts or at least some way to train.


There is still one boss I "fail" every time. During campaign, I get past it when the big attack I still dont know how to avoid properly will only take 90% of my hp. I consider that a fail. I know I would normally die to it.

In maps, I die to it. I want to do it over and over until I know how to do it. At the moment, once I die to it, I will not even know where I would find another.

Guys if u cant do the maps it means ur too weak for that map and u need to do lower maps, if u cant do lower maps then fix ur build. Whatever pushes the game further from 1 shot meme builds is better for the game. And no HC is not the only fix needed because balance is global.

Idc if its skill issue for u, too bad. But the game suffers if its pushed to meaningless gameplay so "people can play on their second monitor" like some smart dude said. Maybe let this be a game for people who play it on their main monitor?

* if the game is more melee friendly then maybe 1 portal is fine. but as is there are too many conflicting philosophies.

ggg wants players to feel engaged so we need to learn how to avoid damage. but ggg is also fine with mobs getting speed bonuses which can be difficult to deal with. ggg is also fine with monsters getting more aoe or more projectiles making avoiding damage harder and harder to gauge.

i am also fine with it being 1 portal for areas with map bosses that came from campaign.

i am less fine with 1 portal for "first time encounters". lets be real, this just forces players to check youtube guides to learn the fight beforehand as the penalty of loss mean losing a lot of progress.

also theres a lot of choke points where players have to brave through if there a lot of archers on the other side. a LOT. a BLOODY DAMN LOT of choke points. map dependent of course but still a lot.

i dont envy ggg on fixing this, coz i do see the value of 1 portal but i also do see that the game as is has many ways that death feels.... cheap. "bs death". currently i would prefer if its at least 2 portals or even 3.
