POE without crafting just doesn't feel the same.
" In general I would not be against adding other options. But what drives me away from wanting deterministic crafting options is that it invalidates a large part of dropped items again. We already have some form of determinism with Runes. It is not much but to me personally enough to fix some needed stats. I also believe that many (not all) players who complained about not having enough items to make it through the campaign, did not look at magic items and did not try to craft improvements. I think most of them just tried the PoE 1 way of ignoring everything in the campaign. Furthermore, campaign drops have already been addressed in a previous patch. But like I said, just my personal opinion. |

" If Diablo 3/4 had the depth of POE1's itemization build diversity and crafting GGG would be in BIG trouble. The diablo games do "play" WAY better than poe but have the depth of a sidewalk puddle. Last edited by stormyknight#7628 on Dec 18, 2024, 6:14:48 AM

There's nothing but pure despise for the PoE(1) crafting system in me. Bloated, overcomplicated, was too much RNG. It's gambling instead of crafting.
Last Epoch and even Inquisitor Martyr do crafting and itemization way better IMHO. That is an inspiration to draw from. |
