Chronomancer currently has no place in the game
"lol. Yeah those games invented time manipulation classes, for sure. |

It doesn't matter how long "time magic has been around in games" it's just such an obvious copy of classes from other games that it doesn't feel very unique or original. It's more of an eyesore than anything.

" Dont worry, I get where you are coming from. Mained Chrono in gw2, too. Lots of similarities. Gw2 did it better tho... for a time. |

" This reads really well! But I would assume that recouped over 3 seconds is still too slow to be life-saving in most cases we take damage. Building and investing in a more situational defense— and a slow one at that—seems like a bad choice if you have the option to invest in more damage. The endgame feedback I saw mostly revolves around not bothering with defenses, as everything that does not die instantly off-screen in endgame is a one-shot anyway if it hits you. And I also see many ascendancies not being up to par with the ones from PoE1, as most of them seem rather weak or, in worse cases, give you downsides you need to heavily work or invest around. This feels interesting on the surface level but punishing and annoying when you see some options that are just flat buffs and don't need any form of investment (besides the horrendous trials). P.S. I think this is on purpose, so people who "decide" not to play the trials because they are too hard, annoying, or frustrating don't miss out on much besides side-grades or utilities. If they made the ascendancies real class fantasy and power, they would have to balance the rest of the game around them. Now we can safely play endgame on Ascendancy one or zero and still have fun and power, while builds that can run them get trade-offs and some power. What a bad idea overall, but I understand it. |

From what I can tell from my testing, Apex of the Moment doesn't even work right now. And for me that is Chrono's best/most distinct node. So that makes it pretty miserable to play.
