GGG are obssessed with keeping their (few) bad ideas in the game

One of the best changes they've made is the penalties on death in the endgame. I've always wanted a dev to be ballsy enough to make ARPG HC Only as its intended, but making is this punishing isn't a bad compromise.

Death is supposed to be a clear signal you have failed your build, and having the corpse cheese ARPG gameplay sends the false message that the game is imbalanced rather than thinking through what they did wrong.
