PoE2 doesn't feel hard. It just feels tedious.

They don't come to ARPGs for a power fantasy. They go to vampire survivor games for that.
Diablo 2, the grand daddy of ARPGs, did not have power fantasy until after you farmed for 460060640 hours.
That was the worst part of the game - farming with enigma and a full BIS char.

It is sad that we have to go through this with every ARPG since Diablo 2. NEWS FLASH DEVS: Players want to feel powerful and find good loot. We dont want to be punched in the face every time we log in because you make your game tedious.

NO ONE PLAYS ARPGS FOR DIFFICULTY. They play it to find rare loot and blow things up with it.

I play them for difficulty. If I wanted to play a mindless brain off game I'd turn my phone on and play an auto-battler.

what the hell is that nonsense, the D2 was pure power fantasy on most classes since lvl 30 on most even earlier than that ...

hell some classes like Necromancer felt like unstoppable demigods from like lvl 5 ...

The game is at a bit of dilemma. On one hand normal trash is still very much like PoE1, which means that they are most fun to deal with as loot explosions.

Meanwhile, they clearly want more methodical gameplay when it comes to the bosses, so that doesn't allow for the one-shot builds needed for normal trash.

Dude - compare Diablo 2 to Diablo (1). One is gothic horror, the other is a power fantasy. As you soon as you set foot into the Blood Moor you're sprinting around, chugging potions, and slaughtering packs of mobs like mowing the lawn.
*** Sorry I press quota but i dont want to quote anyone. My comment:

The game needs its difficulty curve adjusted. It can't be that it's very hard at the beginning and, as you progress, it becomes as easy as a walk in the park. By level 35, you’re already deleting bosses. It should be the other way around: more forgiving at the start and progressively increasing in difficulty.

The same goes for the maps. The gameplay is excessively punishing, forcing you to focus on a single skill and leaving no room to experiment with builds because dying comes with heavy penalties.

What can I say about seeing people with 13,000 shield and some damage bypassed to mana, activated just four days after the game’s launch? The mechanics, skill tree, and game knowledge required feel like PoE new league. It doesn't feel like we’re playing a new game where everyone starts from scratch.

my character : res capped except chaos, 12k armor, 40% block, roughly 10% life regen, dmg taken recoup, titan slammer str stacker with only 2700 life though (i need 3th ascendancy for more life) and some attacks, despite my phys mitigation , litteraly just onetap me, just yesterday i was walking towards the end of my map to the last rare, just walking there an arrow flew towards me and i reacted to slow, wich already is annoying as fuck to be constantly on the lookout and be ready to have forumula 1 reaction time, got one tapped by that singular arrow, my map only was blue with phys as extra cold and rarity mods

this wasnt the first time thouhg, the whole i have to constantly dodge as melee and be on the lookout for anything is not hard, its tedious as fuck

i like the game so far , dont get me wrong but thats just to much, and i only run up to t10 sofar, cant even imagine how it is on 14+

so in essence, the game needs finetuneing, and make the dodgeroll an optional feature for melees, not a mandatory feature

that being said, i vaguely remember a player named "wreckerofdays" or something like that, he made builds for disabled people as he himself was in some form disabled, poe2, the way it currently is, is not made with disabled people in mind simply because of all the actions needed, like quick reaction times, constantly, and so on, just my 2 cents though
I feel like poe2 might be too easy in trade league. The second I started trading, I sh*t on everything. I just started HCSSF to get dunked on. Curious to see how far I make it.

Devs, the game is very fun for me. It’s ruining my productivity but besides that, the difficulty is welcome. The only thing we need is the rest of the classes and more impactful uniques. Please don’t make it easier.
Topic: the game is easy and tedious.

95% of replies: don't make the game easier!

Me: @o@" ...... ok..
